Rainfall Activity Expected To Decrease From 26th July 2023 Onwards Over Saurashtra, Kutch & Parts Of Gujarat Region – Update Dated 25th July 2023

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, કચ્છ અને ગુજરાત રિજિયન ના અમુક ભાગો માં તારીખ 26 જુલાઈ થી 1 ઓગસ્ટ 2023 દરમિયાન વરસાદી એક્ટિવિટી માં ઘટાડો થવાની શક્યતા – અપડેટ 25 જુલાઈ 2023 

ગુજરાત રાજ્ય ના 201 તાલુકા માં છેલ્લા 24 કલાક દરમિયાન વરસાદ, જે માંથી 56 તાલુકામાં 25 mm અથવા વધુ થયેલ.
24 Hours Descending Rainfall in Gujarat State (Data: SEOC, Gandhinagar) 201 Talukas of State received rainfall. 56 Talukas received 25 mm or more rainfall.

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: Current Rainfall Status

There is a 168% excess rain till 24th July 2023 for Saurashtra & Kutch Region and if Kutch is considered separately, Kutch excess of 279% from normal, while Gujarat Region has a excess rainfall of 39% than normal till 24th July 2023. Whole Gujarat State has a 95% excess Rainfall than normal till 24th July 2023.
All India has a surplus of 6% yet States that are now deficient in Rainfall till 24th July 2023 are: Kerala, Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal along with also a shortfall of Rain from Northeastern States of Manipur, Mizoram &Tripura.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર કચ્છ વિસ્તાર માં 24 જુલાઈ 2023 સુધી માં 168% વરસાદ નો વધારો છે અને જો એકલા કચ્છ માટે જોઈએ તો નોર્મલ થી 279% વરસાદ નો વધારો છે આજ સુધી. જયારે ગુજરાત વિસ્તાર માં નોર્મલ જે આ તારીખે હોવો જોઈએ તેનાથી 39% વધુ વરસાદ છે. 24 જુલાઈ 2023 સુધી ઓલ ઇન્ડિયા માં 6% નો વધારો છે તેમ છતાં જે રાજ્યો માં વરસાદ ની ઘટ છે તે આ પ્રમાણે છે: કેરળ,  ઝારખંડ , બિહાર પશ્ચિમ અને બંગાળ તેમજ નોર્થ ઇસ્ટ બાજુ મિઝોરમ, મણિપુર અને ત્રિપુરા.

Forecast For Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch 26th July to 1st August 2023

Various factors that would affect Gujarat State:

1. Western arm of Axis of Monsoon expected to move Northwards towards normal and subsequently further Northwards and remain there towards the Foothills of Himalaya for some time.
2. The WMLP Pressure expected to strengthen over WC/NW Bay of Bengal, so Monsoon trough will be active from South Gujarat to Kerala coast on some days.
3. Very windy conditions over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch from 27th July onwards.
4. Trough from Arabian Sea 3.1 km. UAC and trough from 3.1 km UAC of WMLP over WC/NW Bay of Bengal would be near/over Gujarat State 26th/27th.

Rainfall area and coverage is expected to decrease from 26th July over most parts of Gujarat State except South Gujarat & nearby areas till the end of forecast period. Overall Gujarat Region expected to get more rain compared to Saurashtra/Kutch during the forecast period.

Saurashtra & Kutch Region:
Moisture laden high winds up to 1.5 km level from Arabian Sea expected to pass over Gujarat State. Scattered showers/light rain isolated medium rain mostly Coastal Saurashtra on a few days with off and on cloudy/sunny mixed weather.

Gujarat Region (North Gujarat, East Central Gujarat & South Gujarat):
Moisture laden high winds up to 1.5 km level from Arabian Sea expected to pass over Gujarat State. Scattered showers or light/medium rain on a few days with off and on cloudy/sunny mixed weather. South Gujarat and nearby areas expected to get light/medium/heavy rain on many days with isolated very heavy rain on few days during the forecast period.

આગાહી સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ તારીખ 25 જુલાઈ 2023

આગાહી સમય માટે ના વિવિધ પરિબળો:

1. ચોમાસુ ધરી નો પશ્ચિમ છેડો ક્રમશ ઉત્તર તરફ ગતિ કરશે અને આગાહી સમય માં નોર્મલ થી ઉત્તર માંજ રહેશે અને અમુક ટાઈમ હિમાલયા ની તળેટી બાજુ સરકશે.
2. WC/NW બંગાળ ની ખાડી પર WMLP છે તે હજુ મજબૂત થશે. તેના અનુસંધાને દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત થી કેરળ સુધીના વિસ્તાર માં અમુક દિવસ મોન્સૂન ટ્રફ શક્રિય રહેશે.
3. તારીખ 27 જુલાઈ થી સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ પર અરબી સમુદ્ર ના ફૂલ સ્પીડ પવનો ફૂંકાશે.
4. અરબી સમુદ્ર પર ના 3.1 km. યુએસી નો ટ્રફ તેમજ WMLP માંથી ટ્રફ ગુજરાત રાજ્ય પર/નજીક બેક દિવસ રહેશે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ:
અરબી સમુદ્ર ના ભેજ યુક્ત પવનો 1.5 કિમિ અને નીચે ના લેવલ માં ફૂલ સ્પીડ થી ફૂંકાશે જેથી છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા/ હળવો વરસાદ અને ક્યાંક ક્યાંક મધ્યમ વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે. આગાહી સમય માં ધૂપ છાવ માહોલ રહેશે. વરાપ અને રેડા મિક્સ રહેશે.

ગુજરાત રિજિયન (નોર્થ ગુજરાત, મધ્ય ગુજરાત અને દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત) :
અરબી સમુદ્ર ના ભેજ યુક્ત પવનો ગુજરાત પર થી પસાર થશે. તેના હિસાબે અમુક દિવસ છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા, હળવો/મધ્યમ વરસાદ. ધૂપ છાવ માહોલ નું મિક્સ વાતાવરણ. દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત અને તેની નજીક ના વિસ્તાર માં હળવો/મધ્યમ/ભારે વરસાદ અમુક દિવસ અને કોઈ કોઈ દિવસ સીમિત વિસ્તાર માં વધુ ભારે વરસાદ.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર કચ્છ કરતા ગુજરાત રિજિયમ માં વધુ વરસાદ ની શક્યતા ખાસ દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત માં.
