Monsoon Updates  based on IMD Inferences:

The southwest monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of north Arabian Sea, whole Saurashtra & half of Kutch, most parts of Gujarat region and some more parts of Madhya Pradesh.

The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM)passes through Lat. 23.0 °N/Long. 60.0°E, Lat. 23.0°N/Long. 65.0°E, Naliya, Idar,  Shajapur, Sagar, Sidhi, Patna andLat.27.0°N/Long. 85.0°E.

Favorable conditions are developing for the rapid advance of southwest monsoon into most parts northwest India, including remaining parts of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, entire West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir and some parts of Rajasthan during next 3 to 4 days. This is expected, in view of the likely west northwestward movement of the cyclonic  circulation which is currently located over north Odisha and neighborhood, towards northwest India and its likely interaction with an approaching Western Disturbance.

The upper air cyclonic circulation over north Odisha & neighborhood extending up to 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height persists.

The trough at mean sea level from West Rajasthan to eastcentral Bay of Bengal across north Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.

The offshore trough at mean sea level extends from south Gujarat coast to Kerala coast.

There is an upper air cyclonic circulation over south Pakistan & adjoining Kutch extending up to 0.9 km above mean sea level.

There is an upper air cyclonic circulation over south Gujarat region & neighborhood between 1.5 & 4.5 km above mean sea level.

The western disturbance as a trough in mid-tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level currently roughly runs along Long. 64.0°E and north of Long. 30.0 °N

IMD મુજબ: દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમ ચોમાસુ આજે સમગ્ર સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ને , કચ્છ ના ભાગો ને તેમજ ગુજરાત ના લગભગ ભાગો ને (રાજસ્થાન બોર્ડર વિસ્તાર ને લાગુ સિવાય ) આવરી લીધું .

સૌથી ઉપર ની લીલી લીટી ના છેડે જે તારીખ હોઈ તે તારીખે લીટી ની નીચે ના ભાગ માં બધે ચોમાસું પોંચી ગયું છે તેમ સમજવું.

The red dashed line shows the normal date of onset of Southwest Monsoon over various regions.

Weather Forecast for Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 24th June to 1st July 2017 is yet valid

Saurashtra Gujarat & Kutch will receive light/medium/heavy rainfall on different days in different areas during the forecast period ending 1st July 2017.

50% areas of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch expected to receive rainfall in phases over different areas with cumulative totals of 5 Cms. to 8 Cms. during the period up to 1st July 2017.

Rest 50% areas of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch expected to receive rainfall in phases over different areas with cumulative totals of 8 Cms. to 12 Cms. during the period up to 1st July 2017.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ ના 50% વિસ્તાર માં આગાહી સમય દરમિયાન ની કુલ માત્રા 5 સેન્ટિમીટર થી 8 સેન્ટિમીટર અલગ અલગ દિવસે અને તબકાવાર વિસ્તારો માં કુલ વરસાદ ની સંભાવના.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ ના બાકી ના 50% વિસ્તાર માં આગાહી સમય દરમિયાન ની કુલ માત્રા 8 સેન્ટિમીટર થી 12 સેન્ટિમીટર અલગ અલગ દિવસે અને તબકાવાર વિસ્તારો માં કુલ વરસાદ ની સંભાવના.
