Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm ‘MAHA’ Over Eastcentral Arabian And Adjoining Westcentral Arabian Sea: CYCLONE ALERT FOR GUJARAT COAST: YELLOW MESSAGE

એક્સટ્રીમલી તીવ્ર વાવાઝોડું ‘MAHA’ મધ્ય પૂર્વ અને લાગુ મધ્ય પશ્ચિમ અરબી સમુદ્ર પર છે : ગુજરાત કોસ્ટ માટે સાયક્લોન અલર્ટ : યેલ્લો મેસેજ

Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm ‘MAHA’ over East Central & Adjoining West Central Arabian Sea was located in afternoon at evening was Lat. 18.8N & Long. 64.2E  about 640 km. West Southwest of Porbandar. Wind speed is 165-175 km/hour and gusts of 195 km/hour as per IMD. The core clouds of this Cyclone are at -60 to-70 C Temperature while most Cyclones have -80 C core clouding Temperature. The core clouding has diameter of approximately 225 kms. with a clear EYE feature.

મધ્ય પૂર્વ અરબી સમુદ્ર માં ત્રીવ્ર વાવાઝોડું ‘મહા’ મજબૂત બની અને અતિ તીવ્ર વાવાઝોડું બન્યું છે. આજે સાંજે લોકેશન Lat. 18.8N & Long. 64.2E, જે પોરબંદર થી આશરે 640 કિમિ પશ્ચિમ દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમે છે. IMD મુજબ પવન 165-175 કિમિ ના હતા અને ઝટકા ના પવન 195 કિમિ ના. આ વાવાઝોડા ના ઘટ્ટ વાદળો તાપમાન -60 C થી -70 C ના છે જયારે બીજા વાવાઝોડા માં -80 C સુધી ના હોય છે. ઘટ્ટ વાદળ 225 કિમિ વ્યાસ માં ફેલાયેલ છે અને તેની આંખ પણ સ્પષ્ટ દેખાય છે.

Update:

‘MAHA’ is expected to weaken during next two days as it approaches towards Saurashtra/Gujarat coast. Wind Speeds are expected to be around 50% of Maximum wind speed attained by this ESCS. However, rely on IMD Bulletins for Rain/Wind Speed for this Storm. Today Rain update has not been given.

અપડેટ:

આ વાવાઝોડું આવતા બે દિવસ માં સૌરાષ્ટ્ર-ગુજરાત તરફ પરત આવતા નબળું પડશે અને વધી ને જે પવન ની સ્પીડ થઇ તેના થી આશરે 50 % પવન થઇ જશે. તેમ છતાં આ વાવાઝોડા ના પવન અને વરસાદ માટે IMD બુલેટિન મુજબ અનુસરવું. અહીં આજે વરસાદ અંગે અપડેટ નથી આપી.
