Some Relief Rainfall Expected Over Gujarat Region & Parts Of Saurashtra/Kutch Next 72 Hours – Forecast For 19th To 27th August 2023 – Update 19th August 2023
ગુજરાત રીજીયન ના ભાગો માં તેમજ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર/કચ્છ ના થોડા ભાગો માં થોડી રાહત –

આવતા 72 કલાક દરમિયાન વરસાદ ની શક્યતા – 19 થી 27 ઓગસ્ટ માટે ની આગાહી – અપડેટ 19 ઓગસ્ટ 2023

The Low Pressure Area over south Jharkhand & adjoining north interior Odisha and north Chhattisgarh now lies over north Chhattisgarh & neighborhood with the associated cyclonic circulation extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height. It is likely to move west-northwestwards across northeast Madhya Pradesh during next 24 hours.

A cyclonic circulation lies over northwest Madhya Pradesh & neighborhood and extends 3.1 km above mean sea level.

The Monsoon Trough at mean sea level now passes through Ganganagar, Narnaul, Datia, Satna, the center of Low Pressure Area over north Chhattisgarh & neighborhood, Keonjhargarh, Balasore and thence southeastwards to Northeast Bay of Bengal and extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: Current Rainfall Status as of 19th August 2023

Seasonal Rainfall till 18th August over Saurashtra & Kutch has been 110%  of LPA, while North Gujarat has just got 65% Rainfall, East Central Gujarat has got 67% and South Gujarat has got 72% of LPA. Although Saurashtra and Kutch has exceeded their yearly quota of Rainfall, there are two Districts that have not performed well. Surendranagar District has received 68% and Morbi received 75% of LPA. SImilarly Talukas that have received just 60% or less Rain of LPA are listed here below:
Ranpur(Botad) 47%, Dhangadhara 49%, Jesar 51%, Maliya Miyana 56%, Palitana 57%, Vichhiya 57%, Savar Kundla 58%, Lakhtar 58%, Jafrabad 59%, Paddhari 60% અને Rajkot 60%.
All India Rainfall till date has now slipped into deficit of 6% with States that are deficient in Rainfall are: Kerala, Jharkhand, Bihar. U.P. and Manipur & Mizoram from Northeastern States.

19th August 2023 સુધીની વરસાદ ની સ્થિતિ:

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર કચ્છ વિસ્તાર માં સીઝન નો 110% વરસાદ થયેલ છે 18 ઓગસ્ટ સુધી માં. નોર્થ ગુજરાત માં સીઝન નો 67% વરસાદ થયેલ છે જયારે મધ્ય ગુજરાત માં 65% વરસાદ થયેલ છે અને દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત માં 72% વરસાદ થયેલ છે. સૌરાષ્ટ્ર કચ્છ માં જનરલ વધુ વરસાદ થયેલ હોવા છતાં બે જિલ્લા માં પ્રમાણ માં વરસાદ ઓછો નોંધાયેલ છે જેમાં સુરેન્દ્રનગર 68% અને મોરબી 76%. સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ના તાલુકા લેવલ ની વાત કરીયે તો અમુક તાલુકાઓ માં સીઝન નો 60% અથવા ઓછો વરસાદ થયેલ છે તેવા તાલુકા માં રાણપુર (બોટાદ) 47%, ધ્રાંગધ્રા 49%, જેસર 51%, માળીયા મિયાણા 56%, પાલીતાના 57%, વિંછીયા 57%, સાવર કુંડલા 58%, લખતર 58%, જાફરાબાદ 59%, પડધરી 60% અને રાજકોટ 60%. ઓલ ઇન્ડિયા માં 6% ની ઘટ થઇ ગઈ છે. જે રાજ્યો માં વરસાદ ની ઘટ છે તે આ પ્રમાણે છે: કેરળ,  ઝારખંડ , બિહાર, યુ.પી. તેમજ નોર્થ ઇસ્ટ બાજુ મિઝોરમ, અને મણિપુર છે.

Forecast For Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch  19th To 27th August 2023

Various factors that are beneficial/adverse to Gujarat State :

1. Western arm of Axis of Monsoon expected to become near Normal for a couple of days and will remain North of Normal for the rest of the forecast period.
2. The moisture at 3.1 km expected to increase over Gujarat Region and most parts of Saurashtra/Kutch for couple of days. Subsequently the Moisture is expected to decrease during the rest of the forecast period.
3. Very windy conditions over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch during the later 5/6 days of forecast period.

Saurashtra & Kutch Region:
Scattered showers/rain over limited areas of Saurashtra/Kutch till 21st August. The Monsoon activity will again be subdued during the rest of the forecast period with Cloudy and Sunlight mix weather.

Gujarat Region (North Gujarat, East Central Gujarat & South Gujarat):
Scattered showers or light/medium rain with isolated heavy rain till 21st August. Subsequently the scattered rain will be restricted to South Gujarat on couple of days during the forecast period, rest of the areas mixed sunlight/cloudy weather.

આગાહી સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ તારીખ 19 થી 27 ઓગસ્ટ 2023

આગાહી સમય મા ગુજરાત રાજ્ય ને અસર કરતા વિવિધ પરિબળો:

1. ચોમાસુ ધરી નો પશ્ચિમ છેડો નોર્મલ તરફ આવેલ છે જે હજુ બેક દિવસ રહેશે. બાકી ના સમય માં ધરીનો પશ્ચિમ     છેડો નોર્મલ થી નોર્થ માં રહેશે.
2. 3.1 કિમિ ના લેવલ માં ગુજરાત રાજ્ય પર ભેજ બે ત્રણ દિવસ વધશે અને ત્યાર બાદ ફરી ભેજ ઘટી જશે.
3. પવન ની ઝડપ હાલ મીડીયમ થઇ છે પરંતુ ફરી આગાહી સમય ના પાછળા 5/6 દિવસ પવન ની ઝડપ વધશે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ:
છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા/વરસાદ ની શક્યતા  તારીખ 21 સુધી. બાકી ના આગાહી સમય માં ચોમાસુ મંદ રહેશે તેમજ ધૂપ છાવ માહોલ રહેશે. 

ગુજરાત રિજિયન (નોર્થ ગુજરાત, મધ્ય ગુજરાત અને દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત) :
છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા હળવો/મધ્યમ વરસાદ ક્યાંક ક્યાંક ભારે વરસાદ 21 ઓગસ્ટ સુધી. ત્યાર બાદ ના આગાહી સમય દરમિયાન ના બેક દિવસ વરસાદી એક્ટિવિટી દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત બાજુ સીમિત રહેશે. બાકી ના દિવસો ધૂપ છાવ માહોલ નું મિક્સ વાતાવરણ.
