Monsoon updates based on IMD Inferences:

The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) continues to pass through Lat. 26.0 °N/Long. 70.0°E, Barmer, Chittorgarh, Guna, Satna, Siddhi, Patna and Lat.27.0°N/Long. 85.0°E.

Favourable conditions are developing for the further advance of southwest monsoon into remaining parts of Bihar and some more parts of Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh during next 48 hours and and subsequently towards West Uttar Pradesh, National Capital Region (NCR) and some parts of Uttarakhand and Haryana during next 72 hours.

The Low Pressure area over Saurashtra and neighborhood, now lies as elongated Low from South Rajsthan to Kutch border & neighborhood and associated upper air cyclonic circulation extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level. The UAC at different level are mainly lying over Saurashtra, Kutch, North Gujarat and adjoining Arabian Sea and also adjoining Southwest Rajasthan.

There is an upper air cyclonic circulation lies over Jharkhand & adjoining Gangetic West Bengal between 1.5 & 3.1 km above mean sea level.

The trough at mean sea level from center of low pressure area over North of Kutch border & neighborhood to east Assam across south Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and extends up to 0.9 km above mean sea level.

The feeble off-shore trough at mean sea level from south Gujarat coast to Kerala coast persists.

 ગઈ કાલ નું લો પ્રેસર આજે કચ્છ થી ઉત્તર બાજુ છે. તેને અનૂસંગિક UAC 5.8 કિમિ સુધી છે. લો નું ટ્રફ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ઉપર છે. યુએસી અલગ અલગ લેવેલે હજુ આવતા થોડા દિવસ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, કચ્છ, લાગુ અરબી સમુદ્ર તેમજ નોર્થ ગુજરાત અને લાગુ દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમ રાજસ્થાન અને સિંધ ઉપર રહેશે.

સૌથી ઉપર ની લીલી લીટી ના છેડે જે તારીખ હોઈ તે તારીખે લીટી ની નીચે ના ભાગ માં બધે ચોમાસું પોંચી ગયું છે તેમ સમજવું.

The red dashed line shows the normal date of onset of Southwest Monsoon over various regions.

Weather Forecast for Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 30th June to 4th July 2017

Saurashtra Gujarat & Kutch will continue to receive light/medium/heavy rainfall on different days in different areas during the forecast period ending 4th July 2017. Coverage of rainfall over North Gujarat will increase compared to last few days. Bhavnagar and Amreli Districts have received less rain till now and could expect better rain compared to last few days.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં વરસાદી માહોલ ચાલુ રહેશે. આગાહી સમય ના અલગ અલગ દિવસે હળવો/મધ્યમ/ભારે વરસાદ પડશે અલગ અલગ વિસ્તારો માં. ઉત્તર ગુજરાત માં વરસાદ ની માત્રા હવે વધશે પહેલા ના દિવસો કરતા. ભાવનગર અને અમરેલી માં વરસાદ નું પ્રમાણ ઓછું છે જે આગાહી સમય માં લાભ મળે તેવી શક્યતા છે.

નોંધ: જૂનું માપ 1 ઇંચ = 2.54 સેન્ટિમીટર (આશરે 2.5 સેન્ટિમીટર )
