Current Weather on 22nd July 2017

The Low Pressure over Northwest Madhya Pradesh and neighborhood now lies over Southeast Rajasthan and neighborhood. The associated Cyclonic Circulation extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level.

Low Pressure area that formed on 20th July over Western Saurashtra, Kutch & Adjoining Arabian Sea tracked yesterday Eastwards to over Gujarat and adjoining areas. Subsequently it has merged with the Southeast Rajasthan Low. However, a broad Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation from Saurashtra & vicinity of Arabian Sea to Northeast Rajasthan System exists between 3.1 km to 5.8 km level above mean sea level.

A fresh Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation lies over Gangetic West Bengal and South Bangla Desh & North Bay of Bengal extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level.

The Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Jaisalmer, Center of Low Pressure area over Northeast Rajasthan & neighborhood, Sidhi, Dalotgunj, Bankura, Canning and thence East Southeastwards to Northeast Bay of Bengal and extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.

The off-shore trough at mean sea level extends from South of Gujarat to North Kerala coast.
