Current Weather Conditions on 29th June 2018

Monsoon progress as per IMD:

Southwest monsoon has further advanced into remaining parts of Gujarat state, Rajasthan and north Arabian Sea. Thus the southwest monsoon has covered the entire country today, the 29th June 2018.

The axis of monsoon trough at mean sea level passes through Jaisalmer, Kota, Tikamgarh, Daltonganj, Balasore and thence east­southeastwards to northeast Bay of Bengal. It extends upto 3.1 km above mean sea level.

The Axis of monsoon trough which is currently seen to the south of its normal position is likely to shift northwards towards the foot hills of the Himalayas from 1st July to 6th July. As a result, the rainfall activity is likely to reduce over central India and increase along the foot hills regions on 1st & 2nd July.

Other weather conditions:

The Western Disturbance as a trough in mid & upper tropspheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level now runs roughly along Long. 64°E to the north of Lat. 30°N.

The earlier UAC over M.P./East Rajasthan now lies over East Rajasthan and neighborhood and extends up to 3.1 km above mean sea level.

There is a UAC over Northeast Arabian Sea off West Saurashtra coast between 1.5 km & 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting Southwards with height.

The off-­shore trough at mean sea level now runs from south Maharashtra Coast to Kerala coast.

Update 29th June 2018:

The Southwest Monsoon has covered rest of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Rajasthan along with entire Kutch thereby covering the entire country on 29th June 2018. Forecast issued on 25th June 2018 up to 2nd July will have lower forecast out come. Rain quantum for combined region of Saurashtra & Kutch would be less than earlier forecast for the whole forecast period. No widespread rainfall during this forecast period (up to 2nd July).

ચોમાસુ ધરી જેસલમેર, કોટા, ટીકામગઢ, બાલાસોર અને ત્યાંથી ઉત્તર પૂર્વ બંગાળ ની ખાડી તરફ જાય છે અને 3.1 કિમિ ની ઊંચાઈ સુધી ફેલાયેલ છે.

આગલુ યુએસી હાલ પૂર્વ રાજસ્થાન અને આસપાસ ના વિસ્તાર માં 3.1 કિમિ ઉંચાઈ એ છે.

નોર્થઇસ્ટ અરબી સમુદ્ર માં સૌરાષ્ટ્ર થી પશ્ચિમે એક યુએસી છે જે 1.5 કિમિ થી 5.8 કિમિ સુધી ફેલાયેલ છે અને વધતી ઊંચાઈએ દક્ષિણ તરફ ઝુકે છે.

મોન્સૂન ટ્રફ દક્ષિણ કોંકણ થી કેરળ સુધી લંબાય છે.

29 જૂન 2018 અપડેટ :

હવામાન ખાતા એ આજે આખા દેશ માં ચોમાસુ ડીક્લેર કરેલ છે. સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માટે તારીખ 25 જૂન 2018 થી 2 જુલાઈ સુધી ની આગાહી આપી હતી. સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ ને સાથે ગણી તે આગાહી માં આગાહી કરેલ વરસાદ ની માત્રા ઓછી રહેવા સંભવ છે. આ આગાહી સમય (એટલે 2 જુલાઈ) સુધી માં સાર્વત્રિક વરસાદ  શક્યતા નથી.

સૌથી ઉપર ની લીલી લીટી ના છેડે જે તારીખ હોઈ તે તારીખે લીટી ની નીચે ના ભાગ માં બધે ચોમાસું પોંચી ગયું છે તેમ સમજવું.
