The current round of Rainfall will continue for a day or two. Saurashtra & Kutch the Rainfall areas and quantum will decrease from 11th September 2019, while for most parts of Gujarat Region the Rainfall areas and quantum will decrease from 12th September 2019.
Normal update will be on 11th September 2019 evening 6.00 pm.

હાલ નો વરસાદ નો રાઉન્ડ હજુ એકાદ બે દિવસ વધુ રહેશે. સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ માં તારીખ 11 થી વરસાદ વિસ્તાર અને માત્રા ઘટી જશે, જોકે ગુજરાત રીજીયન (નોર્થ ગુજરાત, મધ્ય ગુજરાત, દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત ) માં તારીખ 12 થી વિસ્તાર અને માત્રા ઘટવાનું અનુમાન છે.
નોર્મલ અપડેટ સાંજે 6 વાગ્યે તારીખ 11 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2019.

Saurashtra: Rainy weather in different areas on some days of the forecast period. Many areas expected to receive Light/Medium to Heavy Rainfall on some days of the forecast period.  High rainfall centers expected to cross 125 mm total rainfall during the forecast period.

Kutch: Rainfall expected to be more than Forecast on 2nd September.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર : આગાહી ના અમુક દિવસો વરસાદી માહોલ જુદા જુદા વિસ્તાર માં રહેશે, જેમાં હળવો-મધ્યમ-ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા. વધુ વરસાદ વાળા સેન્ટરો માં આગાહી સમય નો કુલ વરસાદ 125 મિમિ ને પાર કરી શકે.

કચ્છ : 2 સપ્ટેમ્બર ની આગાહી થી વરસાદ ની માત્રા વધુ રહેવાની શક્યતા.

Current Weather Conditions on 2nd September 2019

Some weather features from IMD :

Under the influence of the Cyclonic Circulation over Northwest & adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal and South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts, a Low Pressure area has formed over Northwest Bay of Bengal & neighborhood. Associated Cyclonic Circulation extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting Southwestwards with height. It is very likely become more marked during next 24 hours.

The Monsoon Trough at mean sea level now passes through Jaisalmer, Bundi, Guna, Umaria, Daltonganj, Bankura and thence Southeastwards to Center of Low Pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal & neighborhood and extends up to 0.9 km above mean sea level.

A Cyclonic Circulation at 1.5 km above mean sea level lies over East Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas of Chhattisgarh & Southeast Uttar Pradesh.

An Off Shore Trough at mean sea level runs from Karnataka coast to Kerala coast.

Some varying observations about weather features:

There is a broad Cyclonic Circulation over Saurashtra/Kutch & adjoining Arabian Sea and extends up to 3.1 km above mean sea level.

A Trough at 3.1 km above mean sea level runs from Gujarat-Maharashtra border to the UAC Associated with the Low Pressure over South Odisha/North Andhra Coast.

An East-West shear zone runs roughly along 18°N at 5.8 km above mean sea level.

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: Current conditions

There has been a very good round of Rainfall over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat during the last 7 days ending Morning of 2nd September 2019. There is a surplus of 21% rain till 2nd September 2019 for Saurashtra & Kutch Region, while Gujarat Region has a surplus of 16% rain till 2nd September 2019. Kutch has received lot of rain and so now has a surplus of 43% rain from normal till 2nd September 2019.

Forecast: 2nd to 9th September 2019

Note: I do not Forecast more than a week ( Referred to as Hu LGAKN in the blog comments). 

Mixed weather during the forecast period with cloudy on more days. Windy during 3rd to 6th over Eastern parts of Saurashtra & adjoining Gujarat Region. A broad Cyclonic Circulation at 700 hPa from Gujarat State to UAC Associated with the Low Pressure over NW & WC BOB will form. Gujarat Region expected to receive more quantum of Rainfall compared to Saurashtra & Kutch during the forecast period.

East Central Gujarat: Rainy weather in different areas on most days of the forecast period. Many areas expected to receive Medium to Heavy Rainfall on different days with Extremely Heavy Rainfall at Isolated places on few days of the forecast period.  High rainfall centers expected to cross 125 mm total rainfall during the forecast period.

South Gujarat: Rainy weather in different areas on most days of the forecast period. Many areas expected to receive Medium to Heavy Rainfall on different days with Extremely Heavy Rainfall at Isolated places on few days of the forecast period.  High rainfall centers expected to cross 125 mm total rainfall during the forecast period.

North Gujarat: Rainy weather in different areas on most days of the forecast period. Many areas expected to receive Medium to Heavy Rainfall on different days with Extremely Heavy Rainfall at Isolated places on few days of the forecast period.  High rainfall centers expected to cross 125 mm total rainfall during the forecast period.

Saurashtra: Rainy weather in different areas on some days of the forecast period. Many areas expected to receive Light/Medium to Heavy Rainfall on some days of the forecast period.  High rainfall centers expected to reach 100 mm total rainfall during the forecast period.

Kutch: Rainy weather in different areas on some days of the forecast period. Many areas expected to receive Light to Medium Rainfall on some days with Heavy Rainfall at Isolated places on few days of the forecast period.

2 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2019 ની સ્થિતિ:

બંગાળ ની ખાડી માં અપર એર સાયક્લોનિક સર્ક્યુલેશન ની અસર હેઠળ નોર્થવેસ્ટ અને લાગુ વેસ્ટ સેન્ટ્રલ બંગાળ ની ખાડી માં એક લો પ્રેસર થયું છે. તેના આનુસંગિક યુએસી 7.6 કિમિ ની ઉંચાઈ સુધી ફેલાયેલ છે અને વધતી ઉંચાઈએ દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમ તરફ ઝુકે છે. આવતા 24 કલાક માં વેલ માર્કંડ લો પ્રેસર થઇ શકે છે.

હવે ચોમાસુ ધરી સી લેવલ થી 0.9 કિમિ સુધી જેસલમેર, બુંદી, ઉમેરીયા , દાલોતગંજ, બંકુરા અને ત્યાંથી બંગાળ ની ખાડી વાળા લો પ્રેસર સેન્ટર સુધી લંબાય છે.

પૂર્વ એમપી અને આસપાસ ના વિસ્તાર માં 1.5 કિમિ ના લેવલ માં યુએસી છે.

ઓફ શોર ટ્રફ સી લેવલ માં કર્ણાટક ના કિનારા થી કેરળ ના કિનારા સુધી લંબાય છે.

અમુક જુદા તારણો:

3.1 કિમિ ના લેવલ માં એક બહોળું અપર એર સર્ક્યુલેશન સૌરાષ્ટ્ર/કચ્છ અને લાગુ અરબી સમુદ્ર પર છે

3.1 કિમિ ના લેવલ માં બીજું બહોળું સર્ક્યુલેશન ગુજરાત/મહારાષ્ટ્ર બોર્ડર વિસ્તાર થી લો પ્રેસર ના યુએસી સુધી ફેલાયેલ છે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ:

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર કચ્છ વિસ્તાર માં 2 સપ્ટેમ્બર સુધી માં જે નોર્મલ થવો જોઈએ તેનાથી 21 % વધુ વરસાદ થયેલ છે, જયારે ગુજરાત રીજીયન (દક્ષિણ, મધ્ય અને નોર્થ ગુજરાત ) 16% વધુ વરસાદ થયેલ છે. કચ્છ માં 2 સપ્ટેમ્બર સુધી માં નોર્મલ થી 43% વધુ વરસાદ થયેલ છે.

આગાહી: સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ તારીખ 2 સપ્ટેમ્બર થી 9 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2019

નોંધ: હું એક અઠવાડિયા થી વધુ ની આગાહી કરતો નથી. Hu LGAKN એટલે હું લાંબા ગાળા ની આગાહી કરતો નથી !

આગાહી ના દિવસો માં વાદળ તડકો મિક્સ વાતાવરણ રહેશે તેમાં વધુ સમય વાદળ છાયું વાતાવરણ રહેશે. વરસાદ અમુક દિવસો પડશે જે અલગ અલગ દિવસે અલગ અલગ વિસ્તારો માં પડશે. 3.1 કિમિ ના લેવલ માં એક બહોળુ સર્ક્યુલેશન ગુજરાત રાજ્ય થી લો પ્રેસર આનુસંગિક યુએસી સુધી છવાશે. ગુજરાત રીજીયન માં વરસાદ ની માત્રા સૌરાષ્ટ્ર કચ્છ થી વધારે રહેશે . તારીખ 3 થી 6 ના પૂર્વ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને લાગુ ગુજરાત રીજીયન ના ભાગો માં પવન વધુ રહેશે.

મધ્ય પૂર્વ ગુજરાત: જુદા જુદા વિસ્તાર માં વરસાદી માહોલ આગાહી સમય ના લગભગ દિવસો રહેશે. આગાહી સમય ના જુદા જુદા દિવસો માં ઘણા વિસ્તાર માં મધ્યમ-ભારે વરસાદ અને અમુક દિવસે કોઈ કોઈ જગ્યાએ અતિ ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે. વધુ વરસાદ વાળા સેન્ટરો માં આગાહી સમય નો કુલ વરસાદ 125 મિમિ ને પાર કરી શકે.

દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત: જુદા જુદા વિસ્તાર માં વરસાદી માહોલ આગાહી સમય ના લગભગ દિવસો રહેશે।. આગાહી સમય ના જુદા જુદા દિવસો માં ઘણા વિસ્તાર માં મધ્યમ-ભારે વરસાદ અને અમુક દિવસે કોઈ કોઈ જગ્યાએ અતિ ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે. વધુ વરસાદ વાળા સેન્ટરો માં આગાહી સમય નો કુલ વરસાદ 125 મિમિ ને પાર કરી શકે.

નોર્થ ગુજરાત: જુદા જુદા વિસ્તાર માં વરસાદી માહોલ આગાહી સમય ના લગભગ દિવસો રહેશે।. આગાહી સમય ના જુદા જુદા દિવસો માં ઘણા વિસ્તાર માં મધ્યમ-ભારે વરસાદ અને અમુક દિવસે કોઈ કોઈ જગ્યાએ અતિ ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે. વધુ વરસાદ વાળા સેન્ટરો માં આગાહી સમય નો કુલ વરસાદ 125 મિમિ ને પાર કરી શકે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર : આગાહી ના અમુક દિવસો વરસાદી માહોલ જુદા જુદા વિસ્તાર માં રહેશે, જેમાં હળવો-મધ્યમ-ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા. વધુ વરસાદ વાળા સેન્ટરો માં આગાહી સમય નો કુલ વરસાદ 100 મિમિ સુધી પહોંચી શકે.

કચ્છ: આગાહી ના અમુક દિવસો વરસાદી માહોલ જુદા જુદા વિસ્તાર માં રહેશે, જેમાં હળવો-મધ્યમ વરસાદ ની શક્યતા તેમજ કોઈ કોઈ સેન્ટર માં ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા.
