The Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level passes through Ferozpur, Hissar, Gwalior, Pendra, Khajuraho, Bhubaneshwar and thence Southeastwards to East Central Bay of Bengal.

There is a weak off­-shore trough at mean sea level from Konkan coast to Kerala coast.

There is an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Vidarbha & East Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Chhatishgarh and it extends from 1.5 km to 3.1 km above mean sea level.

Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat: 23rd July to 28th July 2016

Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat expected to get scattered showers, light rain to medium rain on different days over different places of the forecast period.

UAC dependent higher quantum expected along all the Districts of Gujarat along M.P. Gujarat border and all Districts of Gujarat along Rajasthan Gujarat border.

Similarly higher quantum of rain expected along coastal areas of all the Districts along the Gulf of Khambhat. ( Amreli, Bhavnagar, Ahmedabad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat )

ચોમાસુ ધરી નો પશ્ચિમ છેડો ફિરોઝપુર સુધી આવ્યો અને પૂર્વ છેડો ભૂવનેશ્વર માંથી પસાર થાય છે. આજે ચોમાસુ ધરી ફિરોઝપુર, હિસ્સાર ગ્વાલિયર ખજૂરાહ અને ભુવનેશ્વર અને ત્યાર બાદ માધ્ય પૂર્વ બંગાળ ની ખાડી તરફ લંબાય છે.

હાલ સામાન્ય ઑફ શોર ટ્રફ કોંકણ ના દરિયા કિનારા થી કેરાલા ના દરિયા કિનારા સુધી લંબાય છે.

એક યુએસી પૂર્વ એમપી વિદર્ભ અને લાગુ છત્તીસગઢ ઉપર છે જે 1.5 કિમી થી 3.1 કિમી ની ઊંચાઈ સુધી લંબાય છે.

આગાહી સમય ના અમૂક દિવસે સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, કચ્છ અને ગુજરાત માં છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા, હળવો મધ્યમ વરસાદ અલગ અલગ વિસ્તાર માં પડવાની શક્યતા છે.

આગાહી ના અમૂક દિવસે એમ.પી. ગુજરાત બોર્ડર વિસ્તાર ના ગુજરાત ના જિલ્લાઓ માં તેમજ રાજસ્થાન ગુજરાત બોર્ડર વિસ્તાર ના ગુજરાત ના જિલ્લાઓ માં વરસાદ ની માત્રા વધુ રહેવાની શક્યતા છે.

તેમજ આગાહી ના અમૂક દિવસે ખંભાત ના અખાત ના કાંઠાના વિસ્તાર વાળા સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને ગુજરાત ના જિલ્લાઓ (અમરેલી, ભાવનગર, અમદાવાદ, આણંદ , વડોદરા, ભરુચ, સુરત ના કાંઠા નજીક ના વિસ્તારો ) વરસાદ ની માત્રા વધુ રહેવાની શક્યતા છે.
