Weather Conditions on 11th September 2017

The Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level continues to run along the foot hills of Himalayas.

There is an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Coastal Kerala & neighborhood at 3.1 km above mean sea level.

There is also an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Sindh & adjoining Southwest Rajasthan at 3.1 km. above mean sea level.

An Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation is expected to form within one/two days over Madhya Pradesh & neighborhood.

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch

Updated for 11th to 17th September 2017

South Gujarat, East Central Gujarat & Areas of Gujarat bordering Madhya Pradesh expected get on different days scattered showers/light or medium rain with isolated heavy rain during the forecast period cumulative quantum 4 cm. to 8 cm. (40 mm. to 80 mm). Isolated centers could get erratic very heavy rains.

60% areas of Saurashtra especially Eastern & Southern Saurashtra expected get on some days scattered showers/light or medium rain with isolated heavy rain during the forecast period cumulative quantum 3 cm. to 5 cm. (30 mm. to 50 mm). Isolated centers could get more than 50 mm rainfall.

Kutch & nearby areas of North & West Saurashtra & adjoining areas of North Gujarat expected get on few days scattered showers/light rain during the forecast period and not expected to be significant rain.

Note: There is a very big difference of quantum of rain between various forecast models.

દક્ષીણ ગુજરાત, મધ્ય ગુજરાત અને મધ્ય પ્રદેશ નજીક ના ગુજરાત ના વિસ્તાર માં અલગ અલગ દિવસે ઝાપટા/હળવો મધ્યમ વરસાદ અને કોઈ કોઈ જગ્યાએ ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે. જેની કુલ માત્રા 4 સેમી થી 8 સેમી. (40 થી 80 મીલીમીટર) સુધી. એકલ દોકલ જગ્યાએ અસાધારણ ભારે વરસાદ.

60% સૌરાષ્ટ્ર મુખ્યત્વે દક્ષિણ અને પૂર્વ ભાગો માં અમૂક દિવસે છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા /હળવો-મધ્યમ વરસાદ અને કોઈ કોઈ જગ્યાએ ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે જેની કુલ માત્રા 3 સેમી થી 5 સેમી. (30 થી 50 મીલીમીટર) સુધી. કોઈ કોઈ જગ્યાએ 50 મીલીમીટર થી વધુ ની શક્યતા છે.

કચ્છ તેમજ પશ્ચિમ અને ઉત્તર સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ લાગુ ઉત્તર ગુજરાત બાજુ અમૂક દિવસે છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા /હળવો વરસાદ પણ નોંધ પાત્ર માત્રા ની શક્યતા ઓછી.

નોંધ: અલગ અલગ ફોરકાસ્ટ મોડલ વચ્ચે માત્રા માં બહુ મોટો તફાવત છે.
