Current Weather Conditions on 27th March 2015
The Maximum Temperature as well as Minimum Temperature have been way above normal last four days over most parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat with Heat Wave conditions over some pockets of all these regions. The Maximum Temperature and Minimum Temperature yesterday for some locations were as follows :
There is an atmospheric instability over South Rajasthan & adjoining Gujarat region. Yesterday there was clouding stretching from Arabian Sea and over parts of Saurashtra and North Gujarat and West Rajasthan and North India.
Forecast: 27th to 30th March 2015
Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat:
Currently there is an atmospheric instability over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kucth region. A fresh Western Disturbance as an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation would affect North India from 28th March. The trough of Low at 500 Mb associated with this System would affect Rajasthan and Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch around 29th March. Due to atmospheric instability and the effects of WD there is a possibility of scattered showers over parts of Saurashtra, Gujarat and Kutch on 27th/29th March. The Maximum as well as the Minimum Temperature is expected to remain high and above normal till 28th March and subsequently again decline towards normal by 30th March.
