The southwest monsoon has further advanced into some parts of north Arabian Sea & Gujarat region;
remaining parts of Maharashtra; some parts of Saurashtra and Madhya Pradesh, some more parts of
Chhattisgarh, south Odisha and northwest Bay  of Bengal.

The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) passes through Lat. 21.0° N / Long. 60.0°E, Veraval, Surat, Ujjain, Narsinghpur, Raipur, Kalingapatnam, Lat. 20.0° N / Long. 88.0°E, Krishnanagar and Darjeeling.

Conditions are favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon into some more parts of north Arabian Sea,
Gujarat state, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha;  remaining parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, northwest
Bay of Bengal and West  Bengal and some parts of Jharkhand and Bihar during next 3 days.

 

IMD Advance Of Southwest Monsoon 2015 on 14th June 2015

 

લીલી લીટી છે તે ચોમાસું રેખા છે. આજે દક્ષીણ પશ્ચિમ ચોમાસું સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ના કાંઠા ના વિસ્તાર વેરાવળ અને દક્ષીણ ગુજરાત ના સુરત સુધી બેસી ગયું. આવતા 2-3 દિવસ માં દક્ષીણ ગુંજરત અને સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ના વધુ વિસ્તારો માં ચોમાસું બેસે તેવી સંભાવના છે.
સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ના ઘણા વિસ્તાર માં વરસાદ છે પણ ચોમાસું ડિક્લેર કરવાની મૂન્સુફી હવામાન ખાતા પાસે છે. આજે ચોમાસાની ઉત્તરી રેખા સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ના કાંઠા ના વિસ્તાર માં દાખલ થઇ ગયું.

 સામાન્ય રીતે ચોમાસું કઈ તારીખે ક્યાં પોંચે તે પણ દર્શાવેલ છે
