The monsoon trough continues to run close to the foothills of Himalayas.

There is a trough from East Bihar to North Odisha across Jharkhand extending upto 3.1 km above mean sea level persists.

There is a Western Disturbance  as an Upper trough in Mid-Tropospheric Westerlies roughly along long. 68.0° E & North of Lat. 30.0 N.

Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat

Wait for good rain over Saurashtra, Gujarat and Kutch has continued for last four weeks. Only few places got some light rain on one or two days and scattered showers over some more places of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch. The August rainfall over whole Gujarat has been around 34 mm. till 08.30 am. of 28th August 2015 . Only scattered showers or light rain over parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat on few days of forecast period, more likely around 3rd/4th September. IMD as well as COLA/IGES maps are given for 3rd/4th September showing possible areas of scattered showers/light rain.

3.1 કિમી ઊંચાઈ સુધી નો એક ટ્રફ પૂર્વ બિહાર થી ઊત્તર ઓડીશા સુધી ફેલાયેલ છે.

વેસ્ટર્ન ડીસ્ટર્બન્સ હાલ પશ્ચિમી પવન ના અપર એર ટ્રફ તરીખે 68 ડિગ્રી E. અને 30 ડીગ્રી N. ઉપર છે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં સાર્વત્રિક સારા વરસાદ ની રાહ જોવા નું છેલા 4 અઠવાડિયા થી ચાલુ છે. એકલ દોકલ વિસ્તાર માં હળવો માધ્યમ વરસાદ પડેલ તેમજ અનેક જગ્યાએ ઝાપટા પડેલ છે. ઓગસ્ટ 28 સુધી ઓગસ્ટ માં સમગ્ર ગુજરાત માં ફક્ત 34 મીમી શરેરાશ વરસાદ થયેલ છે. તારીખ 1 થી 6 સપટેમ્બર સુધી અંશત વાદળ છાયું વાતાવરણ અહેશે. કોઈ મોટો વરસાદ નથી પણ અમૂક દિવસે ઝાપટા/હળવો વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે જેમાં તારીખ 3/4 સપટેમ્બર ના વધુ શક્યતા . તારીખ 3 અને 4 માટે IMD તેમજ COLA/IGES ના નકશા આપેલ છે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માટે ચોમાસું હજુ પૂરું નથી થયું.
