The Severe Cyclonic Storm “VAYU” 480 km. South of Veraval Coast of Saurashtra, Gujarat at 08.30 pm IST.

Cyclonic Storm “VAYU” has tracked mainly Northerly direction over Eastcentral Arabian Sea on 11th June 2019 and intensified to a Severe Cyclonic Storm “VAYU” this evening. JTWC has issued Tropical Cyclone Warning No. 5 at 1500 UTC on 11th June 2019 for conditions of 05.30 pm. IST. The wind speed on International scales is 65 knots ( 90 kms/hour on 1 minute average wind speeds basis. IMD has a 3 minutes average basis). The Central pressure reported is 980 millibars. Location of the System is Lat. 16.0N & Long. 70.8E  at 05.30 pm IST on 11th June 2019. Wave height near the System Center is about 6.5 Meters.

આ વાવાઝોડું આજે 11th June 2019 રાત્રે 08.30 વાગ્યે સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ના વેરાવળ થી 480 કિમિ દક્ષિણે છે.

“વાયુ” વાવાઝોડું મધ્ય પૂર્વ અરબી સમુદ્ર માં ઉત્તર બાજુ આગળ વધી મજબૂત બની તીવ્ર વાવાઝોડુ “વાયુ” થયું. JTWC મુજબ આજે સાંજે 05.30 વાગ્યે લોકેશન Lat. 16.0N અને Long. 70.8E  પર કેન્દ્રિત છે. 980 મિલીબાર પ્રેસર છે અને પવનો 65 નોટ ના છે. (120 કિમિ/કલાક 1 મિનિટ ની શરેરાશ મુજબ. IMD પવન ની સ્પીડ 3 મિનિટ ની શરેરાશ પ્રમાણે કહે છે) . આ વાવાઝોડા ના સેન્ટર આસપાસ 6.5 મીટર ના મોજા ઉછળે છે.

It is very likely to move nearly northwards and cross Gujarat coast between Porbandar and Mahuva around Veraval & Diu region as a Severe Cyclonic Storm with wind speed 110-120kmph gusting to 135 kmph during early morning of 13th June 2019.

IMD ના બુલેટિન નંબર 11 મુજબ સારાંશ: આ વાવાઝોડું મુખ્યત્વે ઉત્તર દિશા માં ચાલશે અને 13 જૂન વહેલી સવારે પોરબંદર અને મહુવા ની વચ્ચે વેરાવળ દીવ આસપાસ તીવ્ર વાવાઝોડા તરીકે ક્રોસ કરશે 110-120 કિમિ ની ઝડપે અને ઝટકા ના પવનો 135 કિમિ ની સ્પીડ હોય.

The Severe Cyclonic Storm “VAYU” is now over Eastcentral Arabian Sea and is expected to track Northerly direction during the next 36-48 hour towards Saurashtra Coast. There is all likely hood of high winds accompanied with extremely high rainfall over many areas of Saurashtra & Kutch during 12th to 16th June. Rainfall quantum will be medium/high for South Gujarat and scattered light/medium for rest of Gujarat.

તીવ્ર વાવાઝોડું “વાયુ” મધ્ય પૂર્વ અરબી સમુદ્ર ઉપર ઉત્તર બાજુ આગળ વધે છે. આવતા 36-48 કલાક મુખ્યત્વે ઉત્તર બાજુ ગતિ કરશે અને સિસ્ટમ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર તરફ આવે છે. તારીખ 12 જૂન થી 16 જૂન 2019 સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ માં ઘણા વિસ્તાર માં ભારે/ અતિ ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે. દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત માં મધ્યમ/ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે. બાકી ના ગુજરાત ના વિસ્તારો માં છૂટો છવાયા હળવો મધ્યમ વરસાદ ની શક્યતા. વાવાઝોડા અંગે પવન ની ગતિ વધારે રહેશે એટલે સાવચેત રહેવું.
