Current Weather Conditions on 2nd October 2019
Some weather features :
The System from Gujarat is now a Low Pressure area over Northern parts of East Madhya Pradesh & neighborhood with
Associated Cyclonic Circulation extending up to 4.5 km above mean sea level persists.
The Trough from Punjab to South Assam extending up to 0.9 km above mean sea level persists with multiple Cyclonic Circulations lying embedded in it at various heights.
The Western Disturbance as a Cyclonic Circulation over Iran and adjoining Afghanistan extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level persists.
Another Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation between 3.1 km above mean sea level over western parts of Jammu & Kashmir and neighborhood persists.
Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch:
Forecast: 2nd to 9th October 2019
Morning humidity will remain high with medium humidity in afternoon and winds mainly from West during 2nd to 6th October. Morning humidity will decrease along with afternoon humidity and with Northerly winds and increase in Maximum Temperature during 7th to 9th.
Mainly dry weather with sun shine and partly cloudy weather. Possibility of Scattered showers some times. Areas from Valsad(South Gujarat) up to Maharashtra border can expect Light to Medium Rainfall on some days of the Forecast period.
Withdrawal of Monsoon Criteria:
There are three parameters that should be met for initiating withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon.
The Withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon starts first from Western parts of Northwest India (West Rajasthan).
1. Rainfall activity should be absent in this area for five consecutive days.
2. Establishment of an Anticyclone at 850 hPa or 1.5 km level over this region.
3. Marked reduction in humidity as seen by Satellite images and other methods.
At present it seems it would be minimum of one week before these conditions are fulfilled and hence Monsoon withdrawal would not take place during the forecast period.

પરિબળો: તારીખ 2 ઓક્ટોબર 2019
સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, કચ્છ અને ગુજરાત પર થી જે ડિપ્રેસન સિસ્ટમ પસાર થઇ તે હવે નબળી પડી અને લો પ્રેસર છે અને પૂર્વ એમપી ના ઉત્તર ભાગ અને આસપાસ ના વિસ્તાર પર છે. આનુસંગિક યુએસી 4.5 કિમિ ની ઉંચાઈ સુધી છે.
ચોમાસો ધરી (ટ્રફ ) 0.9 કિમિ ના લેવલ માં પંજાબ થી આસામ સુધી લંબાય છે અને રસ્તા માં અલગ અલગ ઉંચાઈ ના બે થી ત્રણ યુએસી સામેલિત છે.
એક વેસ્ટર્ન ડિસ્ટર્બન્સ સાયક્લોનિક સર્ક્યુલેશન તરીકે 1.5 કિમિ ના લેવલ માં ઈરાન અને લાગુ અફઘાનિસ્તાન પર છે.
બીજું વેસ્ટર્ન ડિસ્ટર્બન્સ સાયક્લોનિક સર્ક્યુલેશન તરીકે 3.1 કિમિ ના લેવલ માં પશ્ચિમ જમ્મુ & કાશ્મીર પર છે.
ચોમાસા ની વિદાય ના માપદંડ:
ચોમાસા ના વિદાય ના ત્રણ માપદંડ છે. ચોમાસા ની વિદાય સૌથી પ્રથમ નોર્થવેસ્ટ ઇન્ડિયા (પશ્ચિમ રાજસ્થાન) માંથી શરુ થાય.
1. આ વિસ્તાર માં સળંગ 5 દિવસ વરસાદ ની ગેર હાજરી હોવી જોઈએ
2. આ વિસ્તાર માં 850 હાપા માં એટલે કે 1.5 કિમિ ની ઉંચાઈએ એન્ટિસાયક્લોન થવો જોઈએ (યુએસી થી ઉલટું )
3. આ વિસ્તાર માં ભેજ નું પ્રમાણ ઘણું ઓછું થઇ જવું જોઈએ જે સેટેલાઇટ ઇમેજ કે બીજી રીતે નક્કી કરવાનું.
હાલ હજુ ઉપરોક્ત બધા માપદંડ પરિપૂર્ણ થઇ શકે તેમ નથી જેથી આગાહી સમય માં પશ્ચિમ રાજસ્થાન બાજુ થી ચોમાસુ વિદાય નહિ થાય.
આગાહી: તારીખ 2 થી 9 ઓક્ટોબર 2019
નોંધ: હું એક અઠવાડિયા થી વધુ ની આગાહી કરતો નથી. Hu LGAKN એટલે હું લાંબા ગાળા ની આગાહી કરતો નથી !
સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, કચ્છ, નોર્થ ગુજરાત, મધ્ય ગુજરાત અને દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત :
તારીખ 2 થી 6 દરમિયાન સવારે ભેજ વધુ અને બપોરે મધ્યમ રહેશે. પવન મુખ્યત્વે પશ્ચિમી રહેશે. તારીખ 7 થી 9 દરમિયાન સવારે તેમજ બપોરે ભેજ ના પ્રમાણ માં ઘટાડો તેમજ મહત્તમ તાપમાન માં વધારો જોવા મળશે અને પવન ઉત્તર બાજુ થી રહેશે.
આગાહી સમય માં મુખ્યત્વે સૂકું વાતાવરણ અને તડકો અને અંશતઃ વાદળ. ક્યારેક છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા. વલસાડ(દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત) થી મહારાષ્ટ્ર બોર્ડર વિસ્તાર સુધી હડવો/મધ્યમ વરસાદ ની શક્યતા આગાહી ના અમુક દિવસો
