Weather Conditions on 25th January 2020

Observations:

The Maximum Temperature have increased during last few days and is near normal or even above normal over few centers. The Minimum Temperature today is above normal over Saurashtra & Kutch. The Minimum Temperature over Gujarat is near normal. The current normal Maximum Temperature over most Centers is now 28 to 30 C from earlier 28 C. Similarly the current normal Minimum Temperature over most Centers is 13 to 14 C from earlier 12 to 13 C.

Minimum Temperature on 25th January 2020 was as under:

Deesa 11.5 C

Gandhinagar 11.6 C

Ahmedbad 12.5 C

Kandla(A) 13.5 C

Vadodara 14.0 C

Bhuj 14.3 C

Keshod 14.6 C

Mahuva 14.9 C

Surendranagar 15.4 C

Porbandar 15.8 C

Rajkot 16.0 C

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 26th January to 2nd February 2020

The winds will be from Northeast and North on 26th and will blow from Northwest with higher speeds on 27th evening till 28th and hence morning humidity will be high on 28th with chances of fog. Also due to WD affecting North India, there is a 50% possibility of isolated showers over Kutch & Saurashtra on 28th January due to atmospheric instability.

The Maximum Temperature expected to decrease from 28th January and there will be a cold spell as Minimum Temperature again goes below normal on 29th/30th January. Subsequently there will be a gradual increase of Temperature of 1 to 2 C increase by 2nd February.
