Weather Conditions on 4th May 2020

Observations:

The Maximum Temperature has been in the range of 41C to 43C during most days last week over most hot centers of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat. Yesterday the Maximum Temperature was as under:

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 5th to 11th May 2020

The winds will be from Westerly (West/NW/SW) direction during the forecast period. The wind speed will be high during evening times on all days of forecast period with the wind speed exceeding 20km/hour.

The morning Humidity will be high especially for Kutch and Saurashtra.  Upper Air Instability will persist. Mainly clear skies during most part of forecast period and scattered clouds on one or two days near the end of the forecast period.

The Maximum Temperature expected to be increase 1 to 3 C during the forecast period with Temperature being above normal in the range of 42C to 45C. The Maximum Temperature is expected to be on higher side on 6th/7th/8th May. The Normal Maximum Temperature is around 40C/41C for some hot centers of Saurashtra & Gujarat. Kutch the Normal for hot centers is 40C. There is a possibility of Heat Wave over pockets of Saurashtra/Gujarat/Kutch during the forecast period.
