Southwest Monsoon Advances Over Saurashtra & More Parts Of Gujarat

દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમ ચોમાસુ સોરાષ્ટ્ર અને ગુજરાત ના થોડા વધુ ભાગો માં આગળ ચાલ્યું

સૌથી ઉપર ની લીલી લીટી ના છેડે જે તારીખ હોઈ તે તારીખે લીટી ની નીચે ના ભાગ માં બધે ચોમાસું પોંચી ગયું છે તેમ સમજવું.

લાલ લીટી જે તે વિસ્તાર માં નોર્મલ ચોમાસું બેસવાની તારીખ દર્શાવે છે

Rainfall Activity To Continue Over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat During 13th To 20th June 2020 – Monsoon To Advance Further Around 15th June

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર કચ્છ અને ગુજરાત માં વરસાદ ચાલુ રહેશે 13 જૂન થી 20 જૂન 2020 દરમિયાન – ચોમાસુ 15 જૂન આસપાસ આગળ ચાલશે

Current Weather Conditions:

Few observations from IMD and other weather parameters:

Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of Madhya Maharashtra, most parts of Marathwada & Vidarbha, some more parts of Chhattisgarh, remaining parts of Odisha & West Bengal and most parts of Jharkhand and some parts of Bihar.

The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) passes through Lat.18°N/Long.60°E, Lat.18°N/Long.70°E, Harnai, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Gondia, Champa, Ranchi, Bhagalpur, Lat.27°N/Long.86.5°E.

Conditions are becoming favorable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into remaining parts of Central Arabian Sea, some parts of North Arabian Sea, remaining parts of Maharashtra (including Mumbai), some more parts of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand & Bihar and some parts of south Gujarat State and south Madhya Pradesh during next 24 hours.

A broad Circulation exits due to the East-West shear zone that runs roughly along Lat.19°N across Peninsular & Central India at 3.1 km above mean sea level & A cyclonic circulation that lies over North Interior Odisha and neighborhood  extending up to 3.1 km above mean sea level.

A trough at mean sea level runs from Northwest Rajasthan to North Interior Odisha across North Madhya Pradesh and North Chhattisgarh and extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch for 13th to 20th June 2020

As per IMD the Southwest Monsoon is expected to enter the North Arabian Sea within 24 hour and reach South Gujarat State (Coastal Saurashtra and South Gujarat). Although Officially IMD onset is considered final, it could be delayed by a couple of days over Saurashtra and South Gujarat. The East West shear zone (with embedded UAC) South of Saurashtra/Gujarat is expected to move Northwards during next few days.

Pre-Monsoon activity with thunder and windy conditions will continue over parts of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch at different locations on different days of the forecast period over all areas where Monsoon has not been declared. Light , Medium, Heavy rain would occur over areas where Monsoon is declared during the forecast period. Overall good round of rainfall is expected during the forecast period.
