Weather Conditions on 26th March 2021

Observations:

The Maximum Temperature has started increasing from yesterday and is in the range of 39-40.5 C. Ahmedabad was at 38.0C yesterday. Now the normal Maximum Temperature for most centers is around 37 C. Maximum Temperature on 25th March 2021 was as under:

Porbandar 40.4C

Bhuj 39.8C

Keshod 39.5C

Surendranagar 39.5C

New Kandla 39.1C

Rajkot 39.0C

Ahmedabad 38.0C

A Western Disturbance will affect North India around 28th/29th March where there will be rainfall and Snow over hilly regions.

 

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 26th March to 2nd April 2021

The wind direction will vary but mainly Northerly direction till 27th. Subsequently Westerly winds are expected. High wind speeds up to 30 Kms per hour possible evening time on 28th to 30th March. Scattered Clouds expected on 28th & 29th March mostly Saurashtra & Kutch. Hence the Temperature variations will be big in different centers of Gujarat.

Foggy conditions expected over some parts of Kutch & Western Saurashtra on 1 to 3 days during 30th March to 1st April.

Foggy conditions expected over some parts of Eastern Gujarat on 2 to 3 days during 31th March to 2nd April.

The Maximum Temperature is above normal currently and is expected increase further on 26th & 27th March range 39C-41C and subsequently to range 40-42 during 28th to 31st March. April first two days the Maximum Temperature is expected to be marginally lower but yet above normal.
