Remnant Of Cyclonic Storm ‘GULAB’ Tracked Over Saurashtra As A Well Marked Low Pressure Yesterday – Today Remnant WMLP Concentrated Into A Depression Now Over Northeast Arabian Sea – Update 30th September 2021
‘ગુલાબ’ વાવાઝોડા ના અવશેષો તરીકે ગઈ કાલે સૌરાષ્ટ્ર પર વેલમાર્કડ લો પ્રેસર આવેલ – આજે આ સિસ્ટમ અરબી સમુદ્ર માં સરકી મજબૂત થઇ ડિપ્રેસન થયું -અપડેટ 30 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2021
Main points from IMD Mid-Day Bulletin:
The Depression over Northeast Arabian Sea & adjoining Kutch moved nearly Westwards with a speed about 28 kmph during past 03 hours and lay Centered at 0830 hours IST of today, the 30th September 2021, over Northeast Arabian Sea off Gujarat coast, near Lat. 22.7° N and Long. 68.6° E, about 60 km West-northwest of Devbhoomi Dwarka (Gujarat), 280 km East-southeast of Karachi (Pakistan) and 860 km West-southeast of Chabahar Port (Iran). It is very likely to move West-northwestwards and intensify into Deep Depression over Northeast Arabian Sea off North Gujarat coast during next 12 hours. Then it is very likely to move further West-northwestwards and intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during the subsequent 24 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to continue to move West-northwestwards close to Pakistan-Makran coasts, moving away from the the Indian coast.
With Westward movement of the Depression over northeast Arabian Sea, away from Indian Coast, Numerical Weather Prediction models consensus indicate, establishment of Westerly & Northwesterly winds at lower & middle tropospheric levels over Northwest India and development of lower level anti-cyclonic circulation over the region from 5th Oct 2021. Under its influence, drastic reduction in moisture and absence of rainfall over extreme northwestern parts of India is very likely. Thus conditions are very likely to be favorable for commencement of withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from some parts of Northwest India from around 6th October 2021.
બંગાળ ની ખાડી વાળું વાવાઝોડું ‘ગુલાબ’ આંધ્ર/ઓડિશા, તેલંગાણા, છતીશગઢ, મહારાષ્ટ્ર, દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત અને ત્યાર બાદ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર પર ગઈ કાલે આવેલ ત્યારે સિસ્ટમ વેલમાર્કડ લો પ્રેસર હતી. ગઈ રાત્રે આ સિસ્ટમ કચ્છ ના આખાત માં સરકી. આજે મજબૂત બની ડિપ્રેસન થયું અને નોર્થઇસ્ટ અરબી સમુદ્ર માં દાખલ થઇ. સિસ્ટમ હજુ મજબૂત થશે ડીપ ડિપ્રેસન થશે અને ત્યાર બાદ વાવાઝોડા માં પરિવર્તિત થશે. આ સિસ્ટમ પશ્ચિમ ઉત્તર પશ્ચિમ તરફ ટ્રેક કરે છે જે પાકિસ્તાન અને ઈરાન તરફ. એટલે ગુજરાત રાજ્ય થી દૂર જાય છે.
આ સિસ્ટમ ભારત થી દૂર જતી હોય આવતા દિવસો માં નોર્થવેસ્ટ ઇન્ડિયા પર એન્ટિસાયક્લોનીક પવનો સેટ થશે એટલે તારીખ 6 ઓક્ટોબર આસપાસ નોર્થવેસ્ટ ઇન્ડિયા ના અમુક ભાગો માંથી ચોમાસુ વિદાય માટે સાનુકૂળ પરિબળો સ્થપાશે.

Forecast For Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch Dated 30th September 2021
Gujarat Region the rain quantum and coverage will reduce from today. South Eastern Saurashtra and parts of Northeast Saurashtra will also have reduced rainfall activity. Western Saurashtra & Kutch can get Cloud bands passing over off and on giving some rainy spells for today. As the Arabian Sea System is tracking away from Gujarat, the rain and coverage will stand reduced from tomorrow over most parts of Gujarat State due to this System.

ગુજરાત રિજિયન માં આજથી વરસાદ ની માત્રા અને વિસ્તાર ઘટશે. પૂર્વ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર માં પણ વરસાદ ની માત્રા અને વિસ્તાર ઘટશે. પશ્ચિમ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ માં સિસ્ટમ દરિયામાં હજુ નજીક હોવાથી ઘૂમરી વાદળો આ વિસ્તાર માંથી પાસ થતા હોય ચાલુ બંધ વરસાદ. આ સિસ્ટમ અંગે આવતી કાલ થી સમગ્ર રાજ્ય માં વરસાદ ની માત્રા અને વિસ્તાર નોંધપાત્ર ઘટાડો.
