ગઈ કાલે દક્ષિણ પૂર્વ બંગાળ ની ખાડી અને લાગુ દક્ષિણ આંદામાન ના દરિયા માં લો પ્રેસર થયું હતું જે આજે વેલ માર્કંડ લો માં પરિવર્તિત થયું. આજે રાત્રી સુધી માં મજબૂત બની તે વિસ્તાર માં ડિપ્રેસન થશે. આવતી કાલ સુધી માં દક્ષિણ પૂર્વ અને લાગુ મધ્ય પૂર્વ બંગાળ ની ખાડી અને લાગુ આંદામાન ના દરિયા માં વાવાઝોડા માં પરિવર્તિત થવાની સંભાવના છે. સિસ્ટમ એક બે દિવસ મુખ્યત્વે ઉત્તર તરફ ગતિ કરશે. પ્રાથમિક અંદાજ મુજબ આ સિસ્ટમ ગુજરાત રાજ્ય ને અસરકર્તા નહિ થાય.
The Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea persists. It is very likely to intensify into a depression by today evening over the same region and subsequently into a cyclonic storm over southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea on 10th May. It is likely to move initially north-northwestwards till 11th May. Thereafter, it is likely to recurve gradually and move north-northeastwards towards Bangladesh-Myanmar coasts.
The trough now runs from West Central Bay of Bengal to cyclonic circulation associated with the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal & adjoining south Andaman Sea extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea level, tilting southwestwards with height.

Gujarat Observations:
The Maximum was near normal over most parts of Gujarat State on 8th May 2023.
Maximum Temperature on 8th May 2023 was as under:
Ahmedabad 41.6°C which is normal
Rajkot 41.7°C which is 1°C above normal
Bhuj 41.0°C which is 1°C above normal
Vadodara 40.2°C which is normal
Deesa 40.5°C which is normal
Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 9th to 16th May 2023
The winds will be mostly blow from West and Northwest direction during the forecast period, with Wind speed of 10-15 km/hour with much higher wind speeds of 15-30 km/hour in the evening over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat. Winds expected to be higher by 5 to 10 km during 12th to 16th May.
At present the normal Maximum Temperature for most places is around 40°C to 41°C. Maximum Temperature is mostly normal. Maximum Temperature is expected to increase and be in range of 42°C – 44°C at hot centers of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch on most days during 9th to 13th May. One or two places could exceed 44°C. Maximum Temperature expected to be decrease 14th/16th May.
સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ: તારીખ 9 થી 16 મે 2023
પવન મુખ્યત્વે પશ્ચિમ દિશા ક્યારેક દક્ષિણ પાશ્ચિમ અને ખ્યારેક ઉત્તર પશ્ચિમ. પવન સ્પીડ 10-15 કિમિ તેમજ સાંજે 15 થી 30 કિમિ. તારીખ 12 થી 16 દરમિયાન પવન ની સ્પીડ 5 થી 10 કિમિ વધશે.
અત્યારે નોર્મલ મહત્તમ તાપમાન 40°C થી 41°C સી સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ ના સેન્ટરો માટે ગણાય. ગઈ કાલે મહત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ હતું. આગાહી સમય માં ગરમી નો રાઉન્ડ ચાલુ થાય છે. 9 થી 13 દરમિયાન ના 4 દિવસ ગરમ સેન્ટરો 42°C -44°C ની રેન્જ માં રહેશે અને કોક સેન્ટર 44°C ને પાર કરી શકે. આગાહી ના બાકી ના સમય માં ગરમી માં રાહત રહેશે.
