Saurashtra Kutch & Gujarat Mainly Dry – Pockets Of South Gujarat Region Expected To Get Scattered Showers/Rain On A few Days During 26th August To 3rd September 2023

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં મુખ્યત્વે સૂકું વાતાવરણ – દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત ના થોડા ભાગો માં છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા/વરસાદ અમુક દિવસ તારીખ 26 ઓગસ્ટ થી 3 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2023 દરમિયાન

Before the Southwest Monsoon began over India, there was a lot of talk about the Effect of El Nino for the current Monsoon Season and that because of Positive IOD the effect of El Nino will not be big. The reality is different from what was initially thought. Even though El Nino thresh hold had been achieved for two months (AMJ 2023 & MJJ 2023) and the IOD being Negative during this period, there was very good Rainfall over India in the first two Months of the Monsoon. IOD Index is 0.79C on 20th August 2023 which is considered as a Positive IOD. Yet the Rainfall over India has not been good currently.

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: Current Rainfall Status as of 26th August 2023

Seasonal Rainfall till 25th August over Saurashtra has been 110%  of LPA, Kutch has been 136%  of LPA while North Gujarat has just got 68% Rainfall, East Central Gujarat has got 66% and South Gujarat has got 73% of LPA.
All India Rainfall till date has now slipped into deficit of 7% with States that are deficient in Rainfall are: Kerala, Jharkhand, Bihar and Manipur & Mizoram from Northeastern States.

 

25th August 2023 સુધીની વરસાદ ની સ્થિતિ:

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર વિસ્તાર માં સીઝન નો 110% વરસાદ થયેલ છે જયારે કચ્છ માં સીઝન નો 136% વરસાદ થયેલ છે. નોર્થ ગુજરાત માં સીઝન નો 68% વરસાદ થયેલ છે જયારે મધ્ય ગુજરાત માં 66% વરસાદ થયેલ છે અને દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત માં 73% વરસાદ થયેલ છે. જે રાજ્યો માં વરસાદ ની ઘટ છે તે આ પ્રમાણે છે: કેરળ,  ઝારખંડ , બિહાર તેમજ નોર્થ ઇસ્ટ બાજુ મિઝોરમ, અને મણિપુર છે.

દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમ ચોમાસુ ચાલુ થયું તે પહેલા એલ નિનો ની ઘણી બીક હતી ચોમાસા માટે. સાથે એમ પણ કહેવા માં આવ્યું કે IOD પોઝિટિવ છે જેથી ચોમાસા ને બહુ નુકશાન નહિ થાય. હકીકતે IOD નેગેટિવ હતો 13 ઓગસ્ટ સુધી તેમ છતાં પરિણામ અલગજ આવ્યું. જૂન અને જુલાઈ માં એલ નિનો થ્રેશ હોલ્ડ પાર કરી ગયા હતા અને IOD 13 ઓગસ્ટ સુધી નેગેટિવ રહેલ હતું તેમ છતાં  જુલાઈ આખર સુધી માં ઇન્ડિયા નું ચોમાસુ નોર્મલ થી સારું રહેલ. હવે તારીખ 20 ઓગસ્ટ ના IOD પોઝિટિવ થયો 0.79C તેમ છતાં વરસાદ ની ઘટ જોવા મળે છે.

 

Forecast For Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch  26th August To 3rd September 2023

Various factors that are beneficial/adverse to Gujarat State :

1. Western arm of Axis of Monsoon expected to remain North of Normal or towards the Foot hills of Himalayas during the most days of the forecast period.
2. The moisture at 3.1 km and above is expected to remain low over Gujarat State for most days of forecast period. Moisture at lower level will also fluctuate low/medium/high during the forecast period.
3. Very windy conditions over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch till 28th and subsequently medium winds during the rest of the forecast period.

Saurashtra & Kutch Region:
Mainly dry over most areas. The Monsoon activity will be subdued during the forecast period with Cloudy and more Sunlight mix weather.

Gujarat Region (North Gujarat, East Central Gujarat & South Gujarat):
Mainly dry over most areas. The Monsoon activity will be subdued during the forecast period with Cloudy and more Sunlight mix weather. Scattered showers/Rain over some parts of South Gujarat on some days during the forecast period.

આગાહી સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ તારીખ 26 ઓગસ્ટ થી 3 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2023

આગાહી સમય મા ગુજરાત રાજ્ય ને અસર કરતા વિવિધ પરિબળો:

1. ચોમાસુ ધરી નો પશ્ચિમ છેડો નોર્મલ થી નોર્થ માં રહેશે જેમાં ઘણા દિવસ હિમાલય ની તળેટી બાજુ રહેશે.
2. 3.1 કિમિ તેમજ ઉપર ના લેવલ માં ગુજરાત રાજ્ય પર ભેજ નું પ્રમાણ ઓછું રહેશે. તેના થી નીચે ના લેવલ માં પણ ભેજ વધ ઘટ થયા રાખશે.
3. પવન ની ઝડપ હાલ વધુ છે તે તારીખ 28 પછી મીડીયમ થશે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ:
મુખ્યત્વે સૂકું વાતાવરણ મોટા વિસ્તારો માં. ચોમાસુ મંદ રહેશે તેમજ ધૂપ છાવ માહોલ જેમાં ધૂપ વધશે.


ગુજરાત રિજિયન (નોર્થ ગુજરાત, મધ્ય ગુજરાત અને દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત) :
મુખ્યત્વે સૂકું વાતાવરણ મોટા વિસ્તારો માં. ચોમાસુ મંદ રહેશે તેમજ ધૂપ છાવ માહોલ જેમાં ધૂપ વધશે.
છુટ્ટા છવાયા ઝાપટા/વરસાદ દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત ના અમુક ભાગો માં અમુક દિવસ આગાહી સમય માં.
