WMLP Over Southeast Bay Of Bengal Expected To Strengthen Further – Unseasonal Showers Expected 2nd-4th December 2023 Over Saurashtra Gujarat & Kutch – Update 30th November 2023

Current Weather Conditions on 30th November 2023

From IMD Mid-Day Bulletin:
An Induced Cyclonic Circulation lies over northwest Rajasthan & neighborhood and extends up to 3.1 km above mean sea level.

A trough in easterlies runs from southwest Madhya Pradesh to the cyclonic circulation over northwest Rajasthan & neighborhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level.

The Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal & adjoining South Andaman Sea moved west-northwestwards and lay over Southeast Bay of Bengal at 0830 hours IST of today, the 30th November, 2023. It is likely to move west northwestwards and intensify into a Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours. Continuing to move further west-northwestwards, it would intensify gradually into a Cyclonic Storm over Southwest Bay of Bengal around 03rd December. Thereafter, it would move northwestwards and reach North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts around the early morning of 04th December as a cyclonic storm.

The Cyclonic Circulation over Northeast Arabian Sea & adjoining Maharashtra coast now lies over Northeast Arabian Sea off north Maharashtra coast between 1.5 km & 3.1 km above mean sea level.

Gujarat Observations:

The Maximum Temperature is 2C to 5 C below normal over most parts of Gujarat.

Maximum Temperature on 29th November was as under:

Ahmedabad 27.3 C which is 4 C below normal

Rajkot  29.2 C which is 2 C below normal

Deesa 27.9 C which is 3 C below normal

Vadodara 27.0 C which is 4 C below normal

Bhuj  28.6 C which is 2 C below normal

The Minimum Temperature is near normal to above normal by about 1 C to 2 C over most parts of Gujarat.

Minimum Temperature on 30th November was as under:

Ahmedabad 18.3 C which is 3 C above normal

Rajkot  15.4 C which is 1 C below normal

Deesa 16.4 C which is 2 C above normal

Vadodara 17.4 C which is 1 C above normal

Bhuj  15.4 C which is normal

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: Up To 7th December 2023

Winds will be mainly from North East direction and sometimes for North or East direction. Interaction of WD westerlies and low level Easterlies will give rainfall over Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh. Gujarat State expected to get isolated light unseasonal showers between 2nd to 4th December.

Normal Maximum Temperature is 31 C and currently are below normal by 2 C to 4 C. The maximum Temperature expected to move towards normal during the forecast period.
Normal Minimum Temperature is 16 to 17 C for most parts of Gujarat and around 14 to 15 C over Northern parts of Gujarat State. The Minimum Temperatures are expected to increase by 2 to 3 C during 2nd to 4th December and again decrease by 2 C during rest of the forecast period.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ: તારીખ 1 થી 7 December 2023

આગાહી સમય માં પવનો મુખ્યત્વે નોર્થઇસ્ટ ના અને ક્યારેક નોર્થ તો ક્યારેક પૂર્વ બાજુ ના રહેશે. વેસ્ટર્ન ડિસ્ટર્બન્સ ના પશ્ચિમી પવનો તેમજ નીચા લેવલ ના પૂર્વોત્તર પવનો ના ઈન્ટરેક્શન થી એમપી તેમજ મહારાષ્ટ્ર માં વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે. આ કારણોસર લાગુ ગુજરાત, સૌરાષ્ટ્ર માં છુટા છવાયા વાદળો થવાની શક્યતા સાથે ક્યાંક ક્યાંક સામાન્ય છાંટા છૂટી ની શક્યતા છે 2 થી 4 ડિસેમ્બર 2023.

હાલ નોર્મલ ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમન 16 થી 17 C ગણાય તેમજ રાજ્ય ના નોર્થ ભાગો માં તે 14 C થી 15 C નોર્મલ ગણાય. ન્યુનતમ તાપમાન હાલ નોર્મલ નજીક છે તો ક્યાંક 1 C થી 2 C ઉંચુ છે. હાલ તાપમાન આવું રહેશે, પરંતુ તારીખ 2 થી 4 ડિસેમ્બર દરમિયાન 2 C થી 3 C વધશે અને ફરી બાકી સમય માં આવું જ થઇ જશે.
હાલ નોર્મલ મહત્તમ તાપમન 31 C આસપાસ ગણાય અને હાલ તે નોર્મલ થી 2 C થી 4 C નીચું છે. આગાહી સમય માં મહત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ તરફ જવાની શક્યતા અને અમુક સેન્ટર માં નોર્મલ થી થોડું વધી શકે છે.
