From IMD Mid-Day Bulletin Dated 17th February 2024:

A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect Western Himalayan Region from night of today, the 17th February, 2024.

Gujarat Observations:

The Maximum Temperature is about 1 to 3 C above normal over most parts of Gujarat.

Maximum Temperature on 16th February 2024 was as under:

Ahmedabad 32.2 C is 1 C above normal

Rajkot  35.1 C which is 3 C above normal

Amreli 33.5 C which is 1 C above normal

Surat 35.9 C which is 3 C above normal

Vadodara 33.2 C is 1 C above normal

Bhuj  34.0 C which is 3 C above normal

 

The Minimum Temperature is near normal to 2 C to 5 C above normal over most parts of Gujarat.

Minimum Temperature on 5th February 2024 was as under:

Ahmedabad 19.4 C which is 5 C above normal

Rajkot  17.4 C which is 2 C above normal

Amreli 17.4 C which is 3 C above normal

Deesa 15.4 C which is 3 C above normal

Vadodara 20.2 C which is 5 C above normal

Bhuj  16.8 C which is 4 C above normal

North India:
Snowfall and or Rainfall over Hilly regions of North India and Rainfall over the plains of North India mainly during 18th-22nd February. 

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 17th To 24th February 2024

Winds will be mainly from Westerly till 22nd February and Subsequently from Northerly direction (North & Northeast) for the rest of the forecast period. Wind speed 10 to 20 kms/hour speed till 21st February with occasional gusts of 20-30 kms/hour . Subsequently from 22nd to 24th the wind speed of 8-15 kms/hour is expected. Foggy conditions expected over most parts of Gujarat State during 19th-21st February, each area starting from Kutch, Saurashtra, North Gujarat and East Central Gujarat and South Gujarat getting fog on one to two days.  Scattered clouds expected tomorrow.

Hot weather round expected till tomorrow. Currently the Normal Minimum Temperature is 13 C to 15 C for most parts of Gujarat. The Minimum Temperatures are expected to be decrease gradually initially by 2 to 3 C between 19th-21st February and subsequently further decrease by 2-4 C during 22nd to 24th February when the range could reach 10 C -14 C. Maximum Temperature expected to also decrease by 2 to 3 C by 20th February and subsequently further decrease 2 C to 3 C between 21st-24th February in the range 28C to 32 C against current normal Maximum Temperature of 30 to 32 C.

આવતી કાલ થી એક વેસ્ટર્ન ડિસ્ટર્બન્સ નોર્થ ઇન્ડિયા ને અસર કરશે. ઉત્તર ભારત ના પર્વતીય વિસ્તારોમાં હિમવર્ષા અને/અથવા વરસાદ તેમજ ઉત્તર ભારતના મેદાની વિસ્તારો માં વરસાદ મુખ્યત્વે 18મી-22મી ફેબ્રુઆરી દરમિયાન.

પરિસ્થિતિ:
તારીખ 16 ફેબ્રુઆરી ના સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છના વધુ ભાગો માં મહત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ થી 1 C થી 3 C સુધી વધુ હતું.

તારીખ 17 ફેબ્રુઆરી ના સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છના વધુ ભાગો માં ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ થી 2 C થી 5 C સુધી વધુ હતું.

આગાહી: સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ: 17 થી 24 ફેબ્રુઆરી 2024

22મી ફેબ્રુઆરી સુધી પવન મુખ્યત્વે પશ્ચિમ દિશાથી અને ત્યારપછી ઉત્તર દિશા (ઉત્તર અને ઉત્તરપૂર્વ) તરફથી આગાહીના બાકીના સમયગાળા માટે રહેશે. 21મી ફેબ્રુઆરી સુધી પવનની ઝડપ 10 થી 20 કિમી/કલાકની ઝડપે અને ક્યારેક ઝાટકાના પવનો 20-30 કિમી/કલાક ના ફૂંકાય. ત્યારબાદ 22મીથી 24મી સુધી પવનની ઝડપ 8-15 કિમી/કલાકની રહેવાની ધારણા છે. 19મી-21મી ફેબ્રુઆરી દરમિયાન ગુજરાત રાજ્યના અલગ અલગ વિસ્તાર ના ભાગો માં ઝાકર ની શક્યતા છે. કચ્છ, સૌરાષ્ટ્ર થી શરુ થઇ ને ઉત્તર ગુજરાત, મધ્ય પૂર્વ ગુજરાત અને દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત તરફ દરેક વિસ્તારમાં એકથી બે દિવસ ઝાકર ની શક્યતા છે. આવતીકાલે છૂટાછવાયા વાદળોની શક્યતા છે.

ગરમી નો રાઉન્ડ આવતી કાલ સુધી છે. હાલમાં ગુજરાતના મોટા ભાગના ભાગોમાં સામાન્ય લઘુત્તમ તાપમાન 13 C થી 15 C છે. 19મી-21મી ફેબ્રુઆરીની વચ્ચે લઘુત્તમ તાપમાન શરૂઆતમાં 2 થી 3 C. સુધી ઘટવાની અપેક્ષા છે અને ત્યારબાદ 22મીથી 24મી ફેબ્રુઆરી દરમિયાન 2C – 4 C. સુધી વધુ ઘટાડો થશે જે 10 C -14 C. ની રેન્જ સુધી પહોંચી શકે છે. મહત્તમ તાપમાન પણ 20મી ફેબ્રુઆરી સુધીમાં 2 C થી 3 C. સુધી ઘટાડો થાય તેવી શક્યતા છે. ત્યારબાદ 21 થી 24 ફેબ્રુઆરીની વચ્ચે મહત્તમ તાપમાન 2 C થી 3 C વધુ ઘટશે જે 28 C થી 32 C ની રેન્જમાં આવાની શક્યતા છે. નોર્મલ મહત્તમ 30 થી 32 C ગણાય.
