Temperature Expected To Increase 4 C To 6 C Over Most Parts Of Saurashtra Gujarat & Kutch During Forecast Period Mainly Between 16th-18th February 2024

Current Weather Conditions on 12th February 2024

From IMD Mid-Day Bulletin Dated 12th February 2024:

The Western Disturbance as a trough in mid-tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level now runs
roughly along long. 60°E to the north of Lat. 30°N.

A cyclonic circulation lies over Punjab & neighborhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level.

The cyclonic circulation over south Gujarat Region & neighborhood at 1.5 km above mean sea level persists.

A cyclonic circulation lies over Marathwada & neighborhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level.

A cyclonic circulation lies over west Vidarbha & neighborhood at 1.5 km above mean sea level.

A fresh western disturbance is likely to affect Western Himalayan Region from 17th February,2024.

Gujarat Observations:

The Maximum Temperature is between -2C to +2 C from normal over most parts of Gujarat.

Maximum Temperature on 11th February 2024 was as under:

Ahmedabad 29.6 C is 1 C below normal

Rajkot  32.3 C which is 2 C above normal

Deesa 30.1 C which is 1 C above normal

Vadodara 30.0 C is 2 C below normal

Bhuj  30.2 C which is normal

 

The Minimum Temperature is near normal to 1 C to 3 C above normal over most parts of Gujarat.

Minimum Temperature on 12th February 2024 was as under:

Ahmedabad 16.5 C which is 3 C above normal

Rajkot  13.2 C which is 1 C below normal

Deesa 12.6 C which is 1 C above normal

Vadodara 16.4 C which is 2 C above normal

Bhuj  14.9 C which is 3 C above normal

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 12th To 19th February 2024

Winds will be mainly from Northwesterly North & Northeast direction during most days of the forecast period. Wind speed 10 to 15 km/hour speed during the forecast period with gusts on somedays reaching 25 kms/hour. On 19th February the winds are expected to be from Westerly direction and so morning humidity will also increase. Kutch & Western Saurashtra should keep a watch for foggy weather. Off and on scattered clouds expected on some days (12th to 13th February & 18th) of the forecast period.

Currently the Normal Minimum Temperature is 12 C to 14 C for most parts of Gujarat. This Normal Minimum Temperature is expected to become 13 C to 15 C during the forecast period. The Minimum Temperatures are expected to increase by 3 C to 5 C during the forecast period with a range of 15 C up to 20 C over most parts of Gujarat during 16th to 18th February. Maximum Temperature expected to also increase to by 4 to 6 C over most parts of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch during 16th-18th February 34 C to 38 C against the normal Maximum Temperature of 30 to 32 C. It could exceed 38 C at some places.

તારીખ 11 ફેબ્રુઆરી ના સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છના વધુ ભાગો માં મહત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ થી -2 C નીચું થી +2 C સુધી વધુ હતું.

તારીખ 12 ફેબ્રુઆરી ના સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છના વધુ ભાગો માં ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ નજીક થી 1 C થી 2 C સુધી વધુ હતું.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ: તારીખ 12 થી 19 ફેબ્રુઆરી 2024

આગાહીના સમયગાળાના મોટાભાગના દિવસો દરમિયાન પવન મુખ્યત્વે ઉત્તર-પશ્ચિમ, ઉત્તર અને ઉત્તરપૂર્વ દિશામાંથી રહેશે. આગાહીના સમયગાળા દરમિયાન પવનની ગતિ 10 થી 15 કિમી/કલાકની ઝડપે અને ક્યારેક ઝટકા ના પવનો 20 થી 25 કિમી/કલાક સુધી પહોંચે છે. 19મી ફેબ્રુઆરીએ પવન પશ્ચિમ દિશામાંથી આવવાની ધારણા છે અને તેથી સવારે ભેજનું પ્રમાણ પણ વધશે. કચ્છ અને પશ્ચિમ સૌરાષ્ટ્રે ધુમ્મસભર્યા હવામાન માટે નજર રાખવી જોઈએ. આગાહીના સમયગાળાના અમુક દિવસો (12મી થી 13મી ફેબ્રુઆરી અને 18મી) પર છૂટાછવાયા વાદળોની શક્યતા છે.

હાલમાં ગુજરાતના મોટાભાગના ભાગોમાં સામાન્ય ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન 12 C થી 14 C છે. આગાહીના સમયગાળા દરમિયાન આ સામાન્ય લઘુત્તમ તાપમાન 13 C થી 15 C થવાની ધારણા છે. આગાહીના સમયગાળા દરમિયાન ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન 3 C થી 5 C સુધી વધવાની ધારણા છે ખાસ કરી ને 16 થી 18 ફેબ્રુઆરી દરમિયાન ગુજરાતના મોટાભાગના ભાગોમાં ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન 15 C થી 20 C સુધીની રેન્જ માં આવવાની શક્યતા.
હાલમાં ગુજરાતના મોટાભાગના ભાગોમાં નોર્મલ મહત્તમ તાપમાન 30 C થી 32 C ગણાય. આગાહીના સમયગાળા દરમિયાન મહત્તમ તાપમાન 4 C થી 6 C સુધી વધવાની ધારણા છે ખાસ કરી ને 16 થી 18 ફેબ્રુઆરી દરમિયાન ગુજરાતના મોટા ભાગોમાં મહત્તમ તાપમાન 34 C થી 38 C સુધીની રેન્જ માં આવવાની શક્યતા. કોઈ જગ્યાએ 38 C ને પાર કરી શકે.
