The Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over northwest Iran & neighborhood now lies over Iran & neighborhood extends up to 9.6 km above mean sea level
Gujarat Observations:
The Maximum Temperature is about 1 to 4 C above normal over most parts of Gujarat.
Maximum Temperature on 28th February 2024 was as under:
Ahmedabad 33.6 C is 1 C above normal
Rajkot 36.6 C which is 4 C above normal
Amreli 36.0 C which is 2 C above normal
Deesa 34.6 C which is 3 C above normal
Vadodara 34.4 C is 1 C above normal
Bhuj 33.7 C which is 1 C above normal
The Minimum Temperature is near normal to 2 C to 4 C above normal over most parts of Gujarat.
Minimum Temperature on 29th February 2024 was as under:
Ahmedabad 20.5 C which is 4 C above normal
Rajkot 18.7 C which is 2 C above normal
Amreli 18.0 C which is 2 C above normal
Deesa 17.6 C which is 3 C above normal
Vadodara 19.4 C which is 3 C above normal
Bhuj 18.0 C which is 3 C above normal
North India:
Moderate to heavy Snowfall and/or Rainfall over Hilly regions of North India (Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh) and Rainfall over the plains of North India (Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, U.P.& M.P.) mainly during 1st-3rd March.
Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 29th February to 7th March 2024
Variable winds on 29th February. Winds will be mainly from Westerly 1st to 3rd March and 4th/5th from Northerly direction (Northwest, North & Northeast) and West & Northwest on 6th/7th March. Wind speed 10 to 20 kms/hour speed during the forecast period with occasional gusts of 20-30 kms/hour on two to three days during the forecast period. Scattered clouds expected first two days of March due to passing of Western Disturbance (passes from West to East direction). There is a possibility of Isolated showers over some parts of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch on one of the days during 1st/2nd March.
Hot weather expected till tomorrow. Currently the Normal Minimum Temperature is 15 C to 17 C for most parts of Gujarat. The Minimum Temperatures are expected to be decrease to below normal 3rd/4th March when the cold spell range could reach 11 C -14 C and subsequently from 5th again increase towards normal.
Hot weather expected till tomorrow. Maximum Temperature expected to also decrease to below normal 2nd-4th March will feel like pleasant days with Maximum Temperature range 29 C to 32 C, and subsequently again increase towards normal during the rest of the forecast period. Current normal Maximum Temperature of 33 C to 34 C.

આવતી કાલ થી એક વેસ્ટર્ન ડિસ્ટર્બન્સ નોર્થ ઇન્ડિયા ને અસર કરશે. ઉત્તર ભારત ના પર્વતીય વિસ્તારોમાં ( જમ્મુ & કાશ્મીર, હિમાચલ પ્રદેશ, ઉત્તરાખંડ) મધ્ય ભારે હિમવર્ષા અને/અથવા વરસાદ તેમજ ઉત્તર ભારતના મેદાની વિસ્તારો માં (પંજાબ, રાજસ્થાન, હરિયાણા, યુ.પી., એમ.પી. ) વરસાદ મુખ્યત્વે 1 થી 3 માર્ચ દરમિયાન.
પરિસ્થિતિ:
તારીખ 28 ફેબ્રુઆરી ના સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છના વધુ ભાગો માં મહત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ થી 1 C થી 4 C સુધી વધુ હતું.
તારીખ 29 ફેબ્રુઆરી ના સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છના વધુ ભાગો માં ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ થી 2 C થી 4 C સુધી વધુ હતું.
આગાહી: સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ: 29 ફેબ્રુઆરી 7 માર્ચ 2024
આજે ફરતા પવનો રહેશે. તારીખ 1 થી 3 માર્ચ સુધી પવન મુખ્યત્વે પશ્ચિમી અને તારીખ 4 થી 5 માર્ચ ના ઉત્તરાદો (નોર્થવેસ્ટ, નોર્થ, નોર્થઇસ્ટ ) અને તારીખ 6-7 માર્ચ ના પશ્ચિમ & નોર્થવેસ્ટ. આગાહી સમય માં પવન 10 થી 20 કિમિ/કલાક અને બે થી ત્રણ દિવસ ક્યારેક ઝાટકા ના પવન 20-30 કિમિ/કલાક ની ઝડપ ની શક્ત્યતા. માર્ચ ના પહેલા બે દિવસ વેસ્ટર્ન ડિસ્ટર્બન્સને (જે પશ્ચિમ થી પૂર્વ તરફ ચાલતું હોય છે) હિસાબે વાતાવરણ માં અસ્થિરતા સાથે છુટા છવાયા વાદળ જેથી તારીખ 1 અને 2 માર્ચ દરમિયાન અલગ અલગ સ્થળો એ એકાદ દિવસ માવઠાની શક્યતા.
આજે અને આવતી કાલે ગરમી નો માહોલ યથાવત રહેશે. ગુજરાત રાજ્ય ના મોટા ભાગો માં હાલ નોર્મલ ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન 15 C થી 17 C ગણાય. ન્યુનત્તમ તાપમાન તારીખ 3-4 માર્ચના સારું એવું ઘટશે અને સવાર સવાર ના ઠંડી નો ચમકારો જોવા મળશે અને અમુક સેન્ટરો માં તાપમાન ની રેન્જ 11 C થી 14 C માં આવશે. ત્યાર બાદ 5 તારીખ થી તાપમાન નોર્મલ તરફ વધશે.
ગુજરાત રાજ્ય માં હાલ નોર્મલ મહત્તમ તાપમાન 33 C થી 34 C ગણાય. પરંતુ આજે અને આવતી કાલે ગરમી નો માહોલ યથાવત રહેશે. તારીખ 2 થી 4 માર્ચ માં મહત્તમ તાપમાન સારું એવું ઘટશે અને નોર્મલ થી નીચું થશે તેમજ દિવસના ખુશનુમા વાતાવરણ થશે જે 29 C થી 32 C ની રેન્જ માં આવશે. ત્યાર બાદ 5 તારીખ થી તાપમાન નોર્મલ તરફ વધશે.
