However Heat Wave only for Bhuj

 

Current Weather Conditions on 13th May 2024

Gujarat Observations:

The Maximum Temperature were near normal on 12th May with Maximum Temperature being 1°C below normal to 1°C above over most parts of Gujarat State. The normal Maximum currently is 41°C to 42°C for most centers of Gujarat State.

Maximum Temperature on 12th May 2024 was as under:

Ahmedabad 41.7°C is normal

Rajkot  41.5°C which is 1°C above normal

Bhuj  38.3°C which is 1°C below normal

Surendranagar 42.0°C which is normal

 

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 13th To 20th May 2024

The winds will be mainly from West & Northwest during the forecast period. Till 15th May the wind speed of 10 to 15 km/hour with gusts reaching 25 to 35 km/hour, with variable directions in evening/night. Subsequently the wind speed of 10 to 15 km/hour with gusts of 15 to 25 km/hour for the rest of the forecast period.

Currently the Normal Maximum Temperature is 41°C to 42°C over most parts of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch. The Maximum Temperature is expected to be near normal 13th-15th May and then increase by 1°C to 2°C on 16th/17th & 20th May when there is a possibility of Maximum Temperature crossing 43°C in some places.

During 13th to 15th May, due to atmospheric instability there is a possibility of scattered showers/rain over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch on a day or two.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ: તારીખ 13 થી 20 મે 2024

પવનો મુખ્યત્વે પશ્ચિમ અને ઉત્તર પશ્ચિમ ના રહેવાની શક્યતા છે. 15 મે સુધી પવન ની સ્પીડ 15 થી 20 કિમિ/કલાક ની રહેવાની શક્યતા છે. સાંજે/રાત્રે ઝાટકા ના પવનો 25 થી 35 કિમિ /કલાક ની ઝડપે ફૂંકાવા ની શક્યતા છે, જે ફરતા પવનો હશે. ત્યાર બાદ ના આગાહી સમય માટે પવન ની સ્પીડ 15 થી 20 કિમિ/કલાક ની રહેવાની શક્યતા છે. સાંજે/રાત્રે ઝાટકા ના પવનો 20 થી 25 કિમિ /કલાક ની ઝડપે ફૂંકાવા ની શક્યતા છે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં હવે નોર્મલ મહત્તમ તાપમાન 41°C થી 42°C ગણાય.તારીખ 13 થી 15 માં મહત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ અથવા નોર્મલ નજીક રહેશે. તારીખ 16-17 તેમજ 20 ના ગરમી નું પ્રમાણ વધુ રહેશે જે બેક ડિગ્રી વધશે અને અમુક સેન્ટરો માં મહત્તમ તાપમાન 43°C પાર કરવાની શક્યતા છે.

તારીખ 13 થી 15 દરમિયાન સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં વાતાવરણ માં અસ્થિરતા વધશે જેથી છુટા છવાયા વિસ્તારો માં એકાદ બે દિવસ ઝાપટા/વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે.
