Current Weather Conditions:
Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from some parts of West Rajasthan and Kachchh, today, the 23rd September, 2024 against the normal date of 17th September.
The southwest monsoon has withdrawn with the fulfillment of withdrawal criteria:
1. Development of an anti-cyclonic circulation over West Rajasthan at 1.5 km above mean sea level.
2. Nil rainfall over the region during last consecutive 5days.
The line of withdrawal of southwest monsoon passes through Anupgarh, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Bhuj, Dwarka. Conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from some more parts of West Rajasthan and adjoining areas of Punjab, Haryana and Gujarat during next 24 hours.
The embedded upper air cyclonic circulations, one over Westcentral Bay of Bengal and another over south Coastal Myanmar & neighbourhood in the eastwest trough has merged and seen as a cyclonic circulation over Central Bay of Bengal extending upto 5.8 Km above mean sea level tilting Southwestwards with height. Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over Westcentral Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood during the next 24 hours.
A cyclonic circulation lies over northeast Assam & neighbourhood at 1.5 km above mean sea level.

દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ ચોમાસું પશ્ચિમ રાજસ્થાન અને કચ્છના કેટલાક ભાગોમાંથી આજે, 23મી સપ્ટેમ્બર, 2024ના રોજ 17મી સપ્ટેમ્બરની સામાન્ય તારીખની સામે પાછું ખેંચાયું છે.
દક્ષિણપશ્ચિમ ચોમાસું પાછું ખેંચવાના માપદંડોની પરિપૂર્ણતા સાથે પાછું ખેંચ્યું છે:
1. સરેરાશ દરિયાઈ સપાટીથી 1.5 કિમી ઉપર પશ્ચિમ રાજસ્થાન પર એન્ટિ-સાયક્લોનિક સર્ક્યુલેશન થયું છે.
2. છેલ્લા સળંગ 5 દિવસ દરમિયાન આ પ્રદેશમાં શૂન્ય વરસાદ.
દક્ષિણપશ્ચિમ ચોમાસું પાછું ખેંચવાની લાઇન અનુપગઢ, બિકાનેર, જોધપુર, ભુજ, દ્વારકામાંથી પસાર થાય છે. આગામી 24 કલાક દરમિયાન પશ્ચિમ રાજસ્થાનના કેટલાક વધુ ભાગો અને પંજાબ, હરિયાણા અને ગુજરાતના આજુબાજુના વિસ્તારોમાંથી દક્ષિણપશ્ચિમ ચોમાસું પાછું ખેંચવા માટે સ્થિતિ અનુકૂળ છે.
મધ્ય બંગાળની ખાડી પર યુએસી છે જે દરિયાની સપાટીથી 5.8 કિમી સુધી લંબાય છે અને ઊંચાઈ સાથે દક્ષિણપશ્ચિમ તરફ ઝુકે છે. તેની અસર હેઠળ વેસ્ટ સેન્ટ્રલ બંગાળ ની ખાડી ઉપર આગામી 24 કલાક માં લો-પ્રેશર થવાની શક્યતા છે
એક યુએસી ઉત્તરપૂર્વ આસામ અને પડોશમાં સરેરાશ દરિયાની સપાટીથી 1.5 કિમી ઉપર આવેલું છે.
Forecast For Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch 24th To 30th September 2024
Due to the incoming UAC/Low Pressure from Bay of Bengal, Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch expected to receive Scattered to fairly Widespread Light/Medium/rather Heavy Rain with Isolated areas getting Heavy rainfall on some days of forecast period. Monsoon withdrawal from Parts of Saurashtra & Kutch is declared today. Therefore, Rainfall quantum will vary too much areawise over the whole Gujarat State due to two opposing factors of Monsoon withdrawal and Incoming UAC/Low Pressure from Bay of Bengal.
Note: Possibility of unseasonal rain over areas of Saurashtra & Kutch where monsoon has withdrawn.

બંગાળ ની ખાડી માંથી આવતું યુએસી/લો પ્રેસર ની અસર રૂપે સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં કોઈ કોઈ દિવસ છુટા છવાયા વિસ્તાર માં અને કોઈ કોઈ દિવસ ઠીક ઠીક વ્યાપક વિસ્તાર માં હળવો/મધ્યમ/સાધારણ ભારે વરસાદ અને આઇસોલેટેડ વિસ્તાર માં ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે. ચોમાસુ વિદાય તેમજ બંગાળ ની ખાડી માંથી આવતું યુએસી/લો પ્રેસર જેવા બે વિરોધાભાષી પરિબળો ને હિસાબે સમગ્ર ગુજરાત રાજ્ય માં જિલ્લા/વિસ્તાર પ્રમાણે વરસાદ ની માત્રા માં ઘણો ફરક જોવા મળશે.
નોંધ: જ્યાં ચોમાસુ વિદાય થયેલ હોય ત્યાં માવઠાની સામાન્ય શક્યતા.
