The unseasonal rain over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch has reduced to 20 Talukas from the total 251 Talukas of Gujarat State with reduced quantum of rain.
Forecast For Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch 23rd to 30th October 2024
The Bay of Bengal Cyclonic Storm “DANA” is expected to track towards Odisha/West Bengal Coast and subsequently the System will weaken when in land. System is expected to affect Maharashtra as per various forecast models, so close watch has to be maintained for next couple of days to get clear picture about its track over land and whether it can affect Gujarat State around end of October.
The Unseasonal Rainfall activity over Gujarat State overall has decreased. Mainly dry weather expected most days over most parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat during the forecast period. However, there is a 50% chance of isolated showers/rain over South Gujarat around the last day of forecast period.

બંગાળની ખાડીનું “DANA” વાવાઝોડું ઓડિશા/પશ્ચિમ બંગાળના દરિયાકાંઠા તરફ આગળ વધવાની ધારણા છે અને ત્યારબાદ જમીન પર હોય ત્યારે સિસ્ટમ નબળી પડી જશે. વિવિધ આગાહી મોડલ મુજબ સિસ્ટમ મહારાષ્ટ્રને અસર કરે તેવી ધારણા છે, તેથી જમીન પરના તેના ટ્રેક વિશે સ્પષ્ટ ચિત્ર મેળવવા માટે અને તે ગુજરાત રાજ્યને અસર કરી શકે છે કે કેમ તે માટે આગામી બે ત્રણ દિવસ સુધી તેના પર નજર રાખવી પડશે.
ગુજરાત રાજ્યમાં એકંદરે કમોસમી વરસાદની પ્રવૃત્તિમાં ઘટાડો થયો છે. આગાહીના સમયગાળા દરમિયાન સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, કચ્છ અને ગુજરાતના મોટાભાગના ભાગોમાં મોટાભાગના દિવસોમાં મુખ્યત્વે સૂકું હવામાનની રહેવાની ધારણા છે. જો કે, આગાહીના સમયગાળાના પાછલા દિવસ માં દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતમાં છૂટાછવાયા વરસાદની 50% શક્યતા છે. જે બાબત બેક દિવસ માં અપડેટ થશે.
