Mainly Dry Weather Expected Most Days Over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat 7th-13th October – Low Pressure System To Develop Over Arabian Sea During The Forecast Period – Advance Indications: Possibilty Of System To Affect Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch Between 14th To 20th October

 

Weather Parameters based on IMD Press released Dated 7th October 2024: 

The line of withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon continues to pass through 29°N/84°E, Nautanwa, Sultanpur, Panna, Narmada Puram, Khargone, Nandurbar, Navsari and 20°N/70°E.

Conditions are favorable for further withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from remaining parts of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and some more parts of Maharashtra during next 2-3 days.

A cyclonic circulation lies over South Kerala & neighbourhood and extends upto lower tropospheric level. A trough runs from southwest Bay of Bengal to Lakshadweep across south Tamil Nadu and the above cyclonic circulation over South Kerala and extends upto lower tropospheric level.

Under their influence, a low pressure area is likely to form over Lakshadweep and adjoining Southeast & eastcentral Arabian Sea around 09th October. It is likely to move northwestwards thereafter.

દક્ષિણપશ્ચિમ ચોમાસું પાછું ખેંચવાની રેખા 29°N/84°E, નૌતનવા, સુલતાનપુર, પન્ના, નર્મદા પુરમ, ખરગોન, નંદુરબાર, નવસારી અને 20°N/70°Eમાંથી પસાર થતી રહે છે.

આગામી 2-3 દિવસ દરમિયાન ગુજરાતના બાકીના ભાગો, મધ્યપ્રદેશ અને મહારાષ્ટ્રના કેટલાક ભાગોમાંથી દક્ષિણપશ્ચિમ ચોમાસું પાછું ખેંચવા માટે સ્થિતિ અનુકૂળ છે.

એક અપર એર સાયક્લોનિક સર્ક્યુલેશન દક્ષિણ કેરળ અને આસપાસ આવેલું છે અને નીચલા મીડ લેવલ સુધી વિસ્તરે છે. એક ટ્રફ દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમ બંગાળની ખાડીથી દક્ષિણ તમિલનાડુ તરફ લક્ષદ્વીપ સુધી અને દક્ષિણ કેરળ પર ઉપરોક્ત યુએસી સુધી વિસ્તરે છે.

તેમના પ્રભાવ હેઠળ, 09મી ઓક્ટોબરની આસપાસ લક્ષદ્વીપ અને તેની આસપાસના દક્ષિણપૂર્વ અને મધ્ય પૂર્વ અરબી સમુદ્ર પર લો પ્રેસર વિસ્તાર રચાય તેવી શક્યતા છે. ત્યારપછી તે ઉત્તરપશ્ચિમ તરફ આગળ વધે તેવી શક્યતા છે.

Forecast For Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch 7th To 13th October 2024 

 

The Rainfall activity over Gujarat State overall has decreased. Monsoon is expected to withdraw from whole Gujarat during the Forecast period. Mainly dry weather expected most days Over most parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat during the forecast period. However, isolated showers/rain on 12th/13th October is expected over Saurashtra &  Gujarat. There is a possibility of a Low Pressure to develop over the Arabian Sea during the forecast period.

Advance Indications (Outcome probability 60%):
The Low Pressure System is expected to strengthen further as it tracks northwesterly direction. There is a differing outcome for the track System, yet there is a possibility of unseasonal rain over Gujarat State during 14th to 20th October. The quatum of rainfall is dependant on various factors such as location of initial Low Pressure formation and interaction of System Guiding parameters present during that time period.

ગુજરાત રાજ્યમાં એકંદરે વરસાદી ગતિવિધિ નો વિરામ રહેવાની શક્યતા. આગાહીના સમયગાળા દરમિયાન સમગ્ર ગુજરાતમાંથી ચોમાસું પાછું ખેંચાય તેવી શક્યતા છે. સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, કચ્છ અને ગુજરાતના મોટાભાગના ભાગોમાં વધુ દિવસો મુખ્યત્વે સૂકું વાતાવરણ ની શક્યતા. જો કે, સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને ગુજરાતમાં 12મી/13મી ઓક્ટોબરે આઇસોલેટેડ ઝાપટા/વરસાદની શક્યતા છે. આગાહીના સમયગાળા દરમિયાન અરબી સમુદ્રમાં લો પ્રેસર સિસ્ટમ થવાની શક્યતા છે.

આ સિસ્ટમ વધુ મજબૂત થવાની ધારણા છે, જે મુખ્યત્વે ઉત્તર પશ્ચિમ બાજુ ગતિ કરશે. વિવિદ્ધ ફોરકાસ્ટ મોડલ વચ્ચે સિસ્ટમ ટ્રેક બાબતે બહુ મોટો ફરક છે. છતાં ગુજરાત રાજ્યમાં 14 થી 20 ઓક્ટોબર દરમિયાન કમોસમી વરસાદની શક્યતા છે. વરસાદનું પ્રમાણ વિવિધ પરિબળો પર આધારિત છે જેમ કે પ્રારંભિક લો પ્રેસર રચના સ્થાન અને તે સમયગાળા દરમિયાન હાજર સિસ્ટમ માર્ગદર્શક પરિબળોની ક્રિયાપ્રતિક્રિયા.
