મધ્ય પૂર્વ અરબી સમુદ્ર પર ગાઢ વાદળો – 18મી થી 21મી ઓક્ટોબર 2024 દરમિયાન સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છમાં કોઈ દિવસ છૂટા છવાયા તો કોઈ દિવસ આઇસોલેટેડ વિસ્તાર માં ઝાપટા/હળવો/મધ્યમ/પ્રમાણમાં ભારે વરસાદની શક્યતા.

Current Weather Conditions:
Yesterday’s cyclonic circulation over north Lakshadweep area & neighbourhood now lies over eastcentral Arabian Sea at 0830 hours IST of today and extends upto 5.8 km above mean sea level. Under its influence, a low pressure area likely to form over the same region during next 12 hours. It is likely to become more marked and move westnorthwestwards away from Indian coasts during subsequent 3 days.
A trough runs from the above cyclonic circulation over eastcentral Arabian Sea to South Andhra Pradesh coast across Karnataka & Rayalaseema and extends upto 3.1 km above mean sea level.
A fresh upper air cyclonic circulation very likely to form over North Andaman Sea around 20th October. Under its influence, a low pressure area likely to form over Central Bay of Bengal around 22nd October, thereafter, it is likely to move northwestwards and intensify further into a depression by 24th October.

ઉત્તર લક્ષદ્વીપ વિસ્તાર અને પડોશ પર ગઈકાલનું અપર એર સાયક્લોનિક સર્ક્યુલેશન આજે IST 0830 કલાકે મધ્ય પૂર્વ અરબી સમુદ્ર પર આવેલું છે અને સરેરાશ સમુદ્ર સપાટીથી 5.8 કિમી સુધી લંબાય છે. તેના પ્રભાવ હેઠળ, આગામી 12 કલાક દરમિયાન તે જ પ્રદેશમાં લો પ્રેસર ક્ષેત્ર રચાય તેવી શક્યતા છે. તે પછીના 3 દિવસ દરમિયાન ભારતીય દરિયાકાંઠાથી વધુ દૂર પશ્ચિમ ઉત્તરપશ્ચિમ તરફ જવાની શક્યતા છે.
મધ્ય પૂર્વ અરબી સમુદ્રમાં ઉપરોક્ત યુએસી થી લઈને કર્ણાટક અને રાયલસીમાના દક્ષિણ આંધ્રપ્રદેશના દરિયાકાંઠે સુધી ટ્રફ લંબાય છે અને સરેરાશ સમુદ્ર સપાટીથી 3.1 કિમી સુધી વિસ્તરે છે.
20મી ઓક્ટોબરની આસપાસ ઉત્તર આંદામાન સમુદ્ર પર નવા અપર એર સાયક્લોનિક સર્ક્યુલેશન ની સંભાવના છે. તેના પ્રભાવ હેઠળ, 22મી ઑક્ટોબરની આસપાસ મધ્ય બંગાળની ખાડી પર લો પ્રેસર ક્ષેત્ર રચાય તેવી શક્યતા છે, ત્યારબાદ તે ઉત્તરપશ્ચિમ તરફ આગળ વધે અને 24મી ઑક્ટોબર સુધીમાં ડિપ્રેશનમાં વધુ તીવ્ર બને.

Last forecast was for 12th to 17th October wherein it rained on all days except on 17th October. Now, due to the Arabian Sea System, Isolated Areas (1% to 25% areas) to scattered areas (26% to 50% areas) of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch expected to receive vaying amounts of Showers/Light/Medium/rather Heavy Rainon on different days during 18th to 21st October 2024.
