The Maximum Temperature has  been increasing daily for last few days and was 1 to 6 C above normal over various centers of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch yesterday the 20th March 2016. Heat Wave conditions prevailed over Bhavnagar and vicinity where the Maximum Temperature was 40.7 C which is 5 C above normal.

Forecast:

A New Western Disturbance is expected to affect Jammu & Kashmir & Himachal Pradesh & Adjoining areas  from 24th March till 27th March 2016.

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 21st March to 27th March 2016

Maximum & Minimum Temperature will remain above normal during the forecast period. The Maximum Temperature over hot centers of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat will be between 39 to 42 C during 23rd to 25th March. The forecast Western Disturbance of 24th to 27th March has a possibility to affect Madhya Pradesh & Gujarat around 26th/27th March. Update for Saurashtra/Gujarat will be given on 23rd about the same.
