Current Weather Conditions on 8th April 2017

 

The Maximum & Minimum Temperature has decline in last two days to become below normal over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch as had been forecast on 1st April 2017.

The Maximum Temperature at Rajkot was 36.0 ºC which is 2 ºC below normal & Minimum was 19.0 ºC which is 3 ºC below normal.

 

The Maximum Temperature at Ahmedabad was 35.4 ºC which is 3 ºC below normal & Minimum was 16.2 ºC which is 7 ºC below normal.

 

The Maximum Temperature at Bhuj was 35.7 ºC which is 3 ºC below normal & Minimum was 18.8 ºC which is 3 ºC below normal.

 

 

Forecast: Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat – 8th to 15th April 2017

The Maximum Temperature is expected to increase next two days and by 10th/11th April the Maximum as well as Minimum Temperature will have already increased to above normal. By 12th April the Maximum Temperature will have increased by 5 ºC to 8 ºC from the current levels and similarly the Minimum Temperature will have increased by 6 ºC to 9 ºC from the current levels. The Maximum Temperature range will be 41 ºC to 44 ºC during 12th to 15th April, so some pockets of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch could experience heat wave like conditions. Mainly Northerly winds initial period and on 12th April the winds will blow from Northwest/Westerly direction.
