Update 9.30 pm.: Rain & Thunder in Rajkot and many areas of Saurashtra
There is a UAC at 850 hPA over Sindh, Kutch, adjoining North East Arabian Sea vicinity of Saurashtra.
The Southwest Monsoon has been stand still for last two days and is expected to advance again as conditions improve thereby covering entire South Arabian Sea and some parts of Central Arabian Sea, rest of Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, more parts of Tamil Nadu & Bay of Bengal.
Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch Dated 1st To 7th June 2017
This UAC is expected to drift Westwards during the next few days. The winds will blow from Southwest and on some days from South over Saurashtra. Maximum Temperature will be near normal with higher humidity.
Scattered showers expected on multiple days during the forecast period over Saurashtra & Gujarat. Kutch has lower chances of scattered showers compared to Rest of Gujarat.

6. “મારા શહેર, કે ગામ માં વરસાદ ક્યારે થશે ?” તેવા સવાલ પૂછવા નહિ. સામાન્ય રીતે સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ ના બહોળા વિસ્તારો ની આગાહી આપેલ હોઈ છે.

Is Indian monsoon engine depend on Madagascar condition ????….bcz I read somewhere that Indian monsoon factor much depend on Madagascar and current of Australian ocean
There is a High Pressure near Madagaskar and vicinity which creates the pressure gradient for Monsoon.
