The Depression over Madhya Pradesh has tracked Westwards and lay centered at 5.30 pm. IST today over vicinity of Madhya Pradesh U.P. about 50 Kms. Northeast of Sagar. The Convective clouds associated with this System are totally towards West and Southwest of the System center. Hence convective clouds are mainly over West Madhya Pradesh and partly over East Rajasthan. Some Clouding can be seen over areas of Gujarat bordering both M.P. and South Rajasthan.

The system is expected to move Westwards.
Under its influence, Southwest Monsoon has advanced over most of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra during last two days. Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan will receive heavy rain during next 48 hours.
There is good possibility of some rain over the areas of Gujarat-M.P. border as well as Gujarat-South Rajasthan border till 24th/25th.
Possibility for rainfall over Saurashtra from this System will be updated in 24 hours.

Southwest Monsoon has covered about 65% of the Country, though Monsoon has not set in over West U.P., Delhi, Uttrakhand, Punjab, Haryana, J. & K., Rajasthan & major parts of Saurashtra, Kutch and Gujarat.

Southwest monsoon has further advanced over some more parts of Arabian sea, some parts of Gujarat region, remaining parts of Maharashtra and east Madhya Pradesh, most parts of west Madhya Pradesh and some more parts of west Uttar Pradesh.
The northern limit of monsoon (NLM) passes through 2.0°N/60.0°E, Veraval, Navsari, Ujjain, Gwalior, Shahjahanpur, Mukteshwar and Lat 31.0°N/ Long. 80.0°E.
Condition are favourable for further advanced of southwest monsoon over some more parts of Arabian sea and Gujarat state, remaining parts of west Madhya Pradesh, some more parts of west
Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and some parts of east Rajasthan.
