The Well marked Low pressure in the Arabian Sea has now gained strength of a Depression. As per MRL the System is 30Knots and 1000 Mb. located at 18.1N 69.3E. However, IMD maintains it as a Well Marked Low Pressure.

The Monsoon Index is showing very active phase of Monsoon over India.

Forecast:

The Arabian Sea System is forecast to strengthen further and move initially towards Saurashtra by tomorrow. Rainfall is expected to start from 10th June till 13th June pertaining to this System. Heavy rainfall for Coastal areas and medium rainfall for rest of the regions of Saurashtra. Rainfall quantity will be forecast tomorrow after seeing the location of the System tomorrow.
