The cyclonic circulation over western parts of Vidarbha & neighbourhood extending upto 4.5 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height persists.

The monsoon trough at mean sea level continues to pass through Bikaner, Kota, Sagar, Pendra Road, Gopalpur and thence southeastwards to Eastcentral Bay of Bengal.

Kutch: Possibility Scattered Light/Medium rain on some days at different locations with isolated heavy rain. Cumulative rainfall during the forecast period 25 mm to 50 mm total. Some Isolated heavy rain centers could get higher quantum exceeding 50 mm Rainfall during the forecast period.

કચ્છ વિસ્તારમાં : છૂટો છવાયો હળવો/મધ્યમ વરસાદ ની શક્યતા. એકલ દોકલ ભારે વરસાદ. આગાહી સમય ની કુલ માત્રા 25 mm થી 50 mm સુધી. વધુ ભારે વરસાદ વાળા સેન્ટરો માં 50 mm થી વધુ ની શક્યતા.

Monsoon To Activate Over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat – Good Round Of Rainfall Expected During 30th August To 6th September 2021

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં ચોમાસુ ફરી સક્રિય થાય છે –  તારીખ 30 ઓગસ્ટ થી 6 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2021 દરમિયાન વરસાદ ના સારા રાઉન્ડ ની શક્યતા

Current Weather Conditions:

The Low Pressure Area over Northwest adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off south Odisha-north Andhra Pradesh coasts with the associated cyclonic circulation extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards across Central & West India during next 4-5 days.

The monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Ferozpur, Delhi, Gwalior, Sidhi, Jharsuguda, Centre of Low pressure area over Northwest adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off south Odisha-north Andhra Pradesh coasts and thence southeastwards to Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and extends up to 0.9 km above mean sea level. Western end of the monsoon trough is likely to shift further southwards during next 48 hours and run to south of its normal position. The eastern end now runs to south of its normal position. Entire monsoon trough is very likely to run to the south of its normal position from 30th August for subsequent 2 days and shift northwards thereafter.

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: Current Rainfall Status

There is a shortfall of 51% rain till 28th August 2021 for Saurashtra & Kutch Region and if Kutch is considered separately, Kutch the shortfall is at 58% from normal. Gujarat Region has a shortfall of 47% rainfall than normal till 28th August 2021.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર કચ્છ વિસ્તાર માં 28 ઓગસ્ટ સુધી માં વરસાદ ની 51% ની ઘટ છે અને જો એકલા કચ્છ માટે જોઈએ તો 58% ઘટ છે, જયારે ગુજરાત વિસ્તાર માં નોર્મલ જે આ તારીખે હોવો જોઈએ તેનાથી 47% વરસાદ ની ઘટ છે.

Bay of Bengal System expected towards West/Central Madhya Pradesh next few days. The Axis of Monsoon both arms expected to be South of normal position by 30th August.

સિસ્ટમ પશ્ચિમ/મધ્ય એમપી તરફ ગતિ કરે તેવું હાલ અનુમાન છે. ચોમાસુ ધરી તારીખ 30 ઓગસ્ટ સુધીમાં પશ્ચિમ એન્ડ પૂર્વ છેડા નોર્મલ થી દક્ષિણે આવશે અને બેક દિવસ તે રીતે રહેશે.

Forecast For Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch 30th August to 6th September 2021

Saurashtra : Possibility of Light/Medium/Heavy/Very Heavy rain over scattered areas on some days and wide spread on other days at different locations with isolated extreme rainfall. Cumulative rainfall during the forecast period between 25 mm to 50 mm total. Some Isolated heavy rain centers could get higher quantum exceeding 125 mm Rainfall during the forecast period.

South Gujarat & East Central Gujarat : Possibility of Light/Medium/Heavy/Very Heavy rain over scattered areas on some days and wide spread on other days at different locations with isolated extreme rainfall. Cumulative rainfall during the forecast period between 50 mm to 75 mm total. Some Isolated heavy rain centers could get higher quantum exceeding 150 mm Rainfall during the forecast period.

North Gujarat : Possibility of Light/Medium/Heavy rain over scattered areas on some days and wide spread on other days at different locations with isolated very heavy rainfall. Cumulative rainfall during the forecast period between 25 mm to 50 mm total. Some Isolated heavy rain centers could get higher quantum exceeding 75 mm Rainfall during the forecast period.

Kutch: Possibility Scattered Light/Medium rain on some days at different locations with isolated heavy rain. Cumulative rainfall during the forecast period 25 mm to 50 mm total. 

Note: Gujarat Region is North Gujarat, East Central Gujarat & South Gujarat.

આગાહી સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ તારીખ 30 ઓગસ્ટ થી 6 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2021

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર : હળવો/મધ્યમ/ભારે/વધુ ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા. અમુક દિવસે છૂટો છવાયો તો અમુક દિવસે સાર્વત્રિક. એકલ દોકલ અતિ ભારે વરસાદ. આગાહી સમય ની કુલ માત્રા 25 mm થી 50 mm. અતિ ભારે વરસાદ વાળા સેન્ટરો માં 125 mm થી વધુ ની શક્યતા.

કચ્છ વિસ્તારમાં : છૂટો છવાયો હળવો/મધ્યમ વરસાદ ની શક્યતા. એકલ દોકલ ભારે વરસાદ. આગાહી સમય ની કુલ માત્રા 25 mm થી 50 mm સુધી. સિસ્ટમ આધારિત હોય વરસાદ ની માત્રા વધી શકે છે.

દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત અને મધ્ય પૂર્વ ગુજરાત : હળવો/મધ્યમ/ભારે/વધુ ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા. અમુક દિવસે છૂટો છવાયો તો અમુક દિવસે સાર્વત્રિક. એકલ દોકલ અતિ ભારે વરસાદ. આગાહી સમય ની કુલ માત્રા 50 mm થી 75 mm. અતિ ભારે વરસાદ વાળા સેન્ટરો માં 150 mm થી વધુ ની શક્યતા.

ઉત્તર ગુજરાત : હળવો/મધ્યમ/ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા. અમુક દિવસે છૂટો છવાયો તો અમુક દિવસે સાર્વત્રિક. એકલ દોકલ વધુ ભારે વરસાદ. આગાહી સમય ની કુલ માત્રા 25 mm થી 50 mm. વધુ ભારે વરસાદ વાળા સેન્ટરો માં 75 mm થી વધુ ની શક્યતા.
