High Cloud Core Of Cyclone "JAL" Reaches Tamilnadu – Though Center Of Storm 315 Kms From Chennai

Severe Cyclonic Storm Jal has tracked West North Westwards during the last few hours. The Center of the System is located at 12.1N 83.0E just outside on the West side of the high cloud core of -80 Degrees. This high cloud core is elongated more North South measuring more than 500 Kms and East West measuring about 375 to 400 Kms. Small part of the Western side of the core of high clouds is over Tamilnadu coast including Chennai.
