As Per IMD Morning Report of 12th October – Monsoon Watch

♦ The southwest monsoon has withdrawn from remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, north Arabian Sea, most parts of Bihar, Vidarbha, some parts of Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Marathawada, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan & Goa and central Arabian Sea.
♦ The withdrawal line passes through Forbesganj, Hazaribagh, Champa, Bramhapuri, Nanded, Pune, Alibagh, Lat. 18.0° N / Long. 68.0° E and Lat. 18.0° N / Long. 60.0° E.
♦ Conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of southwest monsoon from remaining parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, some parts of West Bengal & Sikkim, northeastern states, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and central Arabian sea during next 2-3 days.
