IMD Mid-Day Bulletin dated 26th April 2023:

Current Weather Conditions on 26th April 2023

There is a Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over Pakistan & adjoining Iran between 3.1 km to 7.6 km above mean sea level.
A cyclonic circulation lies over southwest Rajasthan & neighborhood between 1.5 km & 3.1 km above mean sea level.

Gujarat Observations:

The Maximum is near normal to 1°C  above normal over most parts of Gujarat State.

Maximum Temperature on 25th April 2023 was as under:

Ahmedabad 40.6°C which is normal

Rajkot  40.6°C which is 1°C above normal

Bhuj 41.2°C which is 2°C  above normal

Vadodara 39.8°C which is normal

Amreli 40.8°C which is normal

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 26th April to 4th May 2023

The winds will be mostly blow from West and Northwest direction during the forecast period, with Wind speed of 10-20 km/hour with much higher wind speeds of 25-35 km/hour in the evening. Some locations will have local unstable weather with variable winds speed of 30-45 km/hour. Scattered clouds with chances of scattered showers/rain on many days with higher coverage from 29th/30th and 2nd/4th May over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat.

Currently, the normal Maximum Temperature for most places is around 40°C to 41°C, which is mostly normal or 1°C  above normal. Maximum Temperature is expected to be normal on few days and below normal on most days due to unseasonal rains over most places of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ: તારીખ 26 એપ્રિલ થી 4 મે 2023

આગાહી સમય માં પવન પશ્ચિમ અને ઉત્તર પશ્ચિમ ના રહેશે અને પવન ની ઝડપ 10/20 કિમિ. તેમજ સાંજ ના સમયે પવન વધુ રહેશે જે 25-35 કિમિ. વધુ અસ્થિરતા વાળા વિસ્તારો માં ફરતો પવન અને ઝડપ 30-45 કિમિ થઇ શકે. છુટા છવાયા વાદળો અને વાતાવરણ માં અસ્થિરતા 29/30 તેમજ 2/4 મે ના વધુ હશે. સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, કચ્છ અને ગુજરાત ના છુટા છવાયા વિસ્તારો માં ઝાપટા/વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે. તારીખ 29/30 તેમજ 2/4 મે ના માવઠાનો વિસ્તાર વધુ રહેશે.

હાલ નોર્મલ મહત્તમ તાપમાન 40°C થી 41°C આસપાસ ગણાય. સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં મહત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ અને વધુ દિવસો નોર્મલ થી નીચું રહેશે માવઠા ને હિસાબે.
