Weather Conditions based on IMD Night Bulletin 11th September 2024:

The Depression over Northeast Madhya Pradesh moved slowly nearly north-northwestwards with a speed of 15 kmph during past 6 hours and lay centred at 1730 hours IST of today, the 11th September near latitude 25.0°N and longitude 79.6°E over northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining south Uttar Pradesh, about 30 km west of Khajuraho (Madhya Pradesh), 110 km southsouthwest of Hamirpur (Uttar Pradesh), 110 km east-southeast of Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh) and 190 km southeast of Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh). It is likely to move slowly north-northwestwards during next 24 hrs. The system is under  continuous surveillance of Doppler Weather Radar at Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).

The Monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Bikaner, Sikar, the centre of depression over northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining south Uttar Pradesh, Daltonganj, Bankura, Canning and thence southeastwards to northeast Bay of Bengal and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level.

The Western Disturbance as a trough in middle tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level roughly along Long. 72°E to the north of Lat. 28°N persists.

The off-shore trough at mean sea level along south Gujarat to North Kerala coast persists.

The cyclonic circulation over south Gujarat between 3.1 & 5.8 km above mean sea level persists.

The cyclonic circulation over central Assam extending upto 0.9 km above mean sea level persists.
The cyclonic circulation over central parts of Myanmar extending upto mid tropospheric levels persists. It is likely to move west-northwest and lies over coastal Bangladesh and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal during next 2 days.

Forecast For Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch 12th To 18th September 2024 

Few Cloud bands associated with the Depression System over North East M.P. and adjoining South U.P.  could sometimes pass over parts of Gujarat State.

Gujarat Region and adjoining areas of Saurashtra & Kutch can get scttered showers/rain on few days. Gujarat Region means collectively North Gujarat, South Gujarat & East Central Gujarat. Subdued rainfall activity over rest of Saurashtra & Kutch. 

Monsoon has not withdrawn from Gujarat State. Normally Monsoon will withdraw first from Northwest Rajasthan.

નોર્થ ઈસ્ટ એમ.પી. અને લાગુ દક્ષિણ યુ.પી. પર ડિપ્રેશન સિસ્ટમ સાથે સંકળાયેલ પૂછડિયા વાદળો ક્યારેક ગુજરાત રાજ્ય ઉપરથી પસાર થઇ શકે.
ગુજરાત રિજિયન અને લાગુ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ ના વિસ્તારો માં અમુક દિવસ છૂટાછવાયા ઝાપટા/વરસાદ પડી શકે છે. બાકી ના સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છમાં વરસાદી ગતિવિધિઓમાં ઘટાડો.

ગુજરાત રાજ્યમાંથી ચોમાસું વિદાય નથી થયું. સામાન્ય રીતે ચોમાસુ ઉત્તર પશ્ચિમ રાજસ્થાનમાંથી પહેલા વિદાય લેતું હોય છે.
