The Temperature over Saurashtra has been below normal for last two days. The Maximum Temperature at Rajkot has been above normal at 31 to 33 Degrees and the Minimum has been between 11.7 to 13.3 Degrees. The normal Temperatures for this time of the year for Rajkot is Maximum 30 Degrees and Minimunm of 14 Degrees C.

The Cyclonic Circulation in the Bay of Bengal has strengthened to a Low Pressure currently located about 400 Kms. East of Tamilnadu & Shri Lanka.

Forecast:

Saurashtra & Gujarat will have near normal Temperatures for the next few days. Rajkot can expect Minimum to be around 13 to 15 Degrees C.

Western Disturbance will give Heavy snowfall and rains for the Hilly regions of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh. Landslides and road blocks are expected in this area. Scattered Rainfall is forecast for rest of the North Indian regions.

Heavy rains are forecast for Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu between 11th to 15th December. This rain amount will be at least three times the normal rainfall for this time of the year for this region.
