It was indicated in earlier forecast on 25th July that by the end of July a Low Pressure would develop over the Bay of Bengal. Today a fresh Low Pressure area has developed over the Northeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Bangla Desh & West Bengal. Associated Cyclonic Circulation extends up to 9.5 Kms. above mean sea level.
The earlier Low Pressure from the Bay of Bengal is currently over North M.P. vicinity & Central U.P. with Associated Cyclonic Circulation extending up to 4.5 Kms. above mean sea level.
There is an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Southeast Rajasthan.
The Off-shore trough along the Western Coast runs from South Gujarat to Karnataka.
Very good moisture incursion is taking place from Arabian Sea over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch due to the two Systems over Rajasthan & M.P./U.P.

નવુ લો પ્રેસરથી સરધારથી રાજકોટ વચ્ચે એટલે ત્રબા અને આજુબાજુનો ૧૦-૧૫ ગામનો વિસ્તારમા વરસાદ રહેશે કે નહિ ?
જો ત્યા સારો વરસાદ હોય તો આજી ડેમ મા પાણી આવે.
આજી ડેમ નો સ્ત્રોત વિસ્તાર પ્રમાણ માં સીમિત છે એટલે બારાતા વાર લાગતી હોઈ છે। વરસાદ તો થશે એવી આશા રાખો.
Is there any reason for more moisture incrusion over saurashtra this time especially rajkot and kachchh area..because past many lowpressure form in this july are not gave that much rain in rajkot and kachchh..another question can august give this much low pressures like july.?
Monsoon is moisture incursion from Arabian Sea & Bay of Bengal due to pressure gradient between axis of monsoon (that stretches from Northwest India Southeast towards Bay of Bengal) & North Indian Ocean. There has not been any sunshine to drive the moisture, so it has increased.
I cannot guide you about whole August since I am a short term weather forecaster.
