Current Weather Conditions on 5th February 2014 @ 12.00 pm.

The Temperature has been above normal for last four days over most parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat. The Maximum Temperature at Rajkot was above 33 C. on Saturday and Sunday and since then has marginally decreased to around 31.6 C. yesterday. The Minimum Temperature at Rajkot was 20.3 C. on Sunday and now come down to 16.0 C. today. However the Minimum Temperature is yet above normal by 2 to 3 C.  Similar scenario existed at other places of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat where the Minimum as well as the Maximum Temperature has been above normal by 1 to 3 C.

Forecast: 6th February to 12th February

Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat:

The Maximum as well as Minimum Temperature will remain 1 to 2 C. above normal up to 7th February. The winds are expected to blow from West starting evening of 6th February till 8th Afternoon. The morning Humidity is expected to increase up to 80%-90% on 7th and very high possibility of Fog over many parts of Saurashtra, Kutch and Western parts of Gujarat mainly for 7th February. The winds will again become Northerly and the Maximum as well as Minimum Temperature will be lower than current Temperature by 2 to 3 Degrees on 8th & 9th February and subsequently decline further by 2 to 3 and remain lower between 10th to 12th February. In short the Minimum as well as Maximum temperature will be lower than the current Temperature by about 5 C. over most places of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat.

Snowfall expected on 5th to 7th February over hilly regions of North India and rain over plains of North India.
