Low Pressure Develops Over Bay Of Bengal – Location 250 Kms. South Southeast Of Kanyakumari

Current Weather Conditions on 6th May 2014 @ 10.30 am.

An Upper Cyclonic Circulation had developed yesterday over an area South of Indian Peninsula and West of Southern tip of Sri Lanka. This UAC has strengthened into a Low Pressure area after mid-night of 5th May 2014 located at @ 5.7°N 78.4°E. This System started being monitored by NRL as 91B.INVEST from 1900z on 05-05-2014. Currently the Low Pressure strength is 20 knots with 1007 Mb. Pressure located at 5.8°N 78.1°E Located about 250 Kms. South Southeast Of Kanyakumari, the Southern tip of India.
