This morning’s Low Pressure area located at 5.8°N 78.1°E has tracked Northerly direction and at 0600 UTC (11.30 am. IST) strengthened further to a Well Marked Low Pressure with 25 knots winds and 1004 Mb. Central Pressure located at 6.3°N 78.0°E about 200 Kms. South Of Kanyakumari.

The Low Pressure System is expected to track mainly Northerly direction and then track along the Kerala Coast during the next two days. Rainfall is forecast for the Southern peninsula next three days.
