JTWC has isssued Tropical Cyclone Warning Number 15 @ 1500 UTC on 11-10-2014 for conditions at 1200 UTC of 11-10-2014. System 03B.Hudhud had 110 knots wind speed with 941 mb. Central Pressure located at Lat. 16.3°N & Long. 84.8°E over the West Central Bay of Bengal. System has Tracked at 6 knots during the last six hours.
1 knot wind speed = 1.852 Kms./Hour wind speed.
System was 225 kms. Southeast from Visakhapatnam & 325 Kms. South Southeast from Gopalpur @ 1200 UTC (at 5.30 pm. IST ) on 11th October 2014.

Very Severe Cyclonic Storm “HUDHUD” – TC 03B.HUDHUD :
Very Severe Cyclonic Storm “HUDHUD” is expected to track North West direction towards North Andhra Pradesh/South Odisha Coast till Landfall tomorrow the 12th October vicinity of Visakhapatnam as per both GSF as well as ECMWF available forecast runs. The System seems to have stalled and is quasi-stationary for last few hours till time of posting. Tracking speed will again increase before landfall.

Yes Vidarbha will receive rain. Gujarat will not get rain.
Any chance of become super cyclone from very severe cyclone? Bcoz in starting everyone predicted of severe cyclone
IMD reports winds on 3 minutes ave wind speed basis. If winds 120 knots or greater then only it can be Super Cyclonic Storm.
Currently IMD says max. 95 knots it will reach.
