Forecast: 19th June to 21st June 2015

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch

The Bay of Bengal Well Marked Low Pressure could strengthen further during the next 24 hours.

The Arabian Sea Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation is expected to strengthen further and under its influence a Low Pressure area is expected to develope by 20th June evening over the same area.

Scattered good amounts of rainfall will continue over most parts of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch during the forecast period with increase in coverage of rainfall on each day. Due to the change in location of the center of UAC/(Low Pressure as & when it develops) in the Arabian Sea, the rainfall amounts will vary by areas on different days.

Southwest Monsoon has been stand still over Veraval and Surat from 14th June onwards. Conditions are improving for onset of Monsoon over further parts of Saurashtra, South Gujarat & Central Gujarat and also parts of North Arabian Sea during next 72 hours.

@Sanjay marsonia- Of course I have copied text from other site.but for that you have to explore various site, read the article and understand its credibility and decide whether it is genuine enough to share at Gujarat weather.com or not. For that u have to do some exercise. I have shared the thing which is necessary for the other friend to know. If u feel uncomfortable than its your problem.

Sir, there are Two scenarios.

FIRST: it will stay close to the Saurashtra coast and intensify into a possible depression on Monday, June 22, 2015. It will make landfall into the region on Tuesday, move through central Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and end up finally in West Bengal.

SECOND: it intensifies and move back into the Arabian Sea, goes quite near the coast of Oman, then turn back. It will make landfall into Kutch on June June 25, 2015 and move through western Rajasthan towards Delhi. Heavy rains likely in Kutch, Saurashtra, and Sindh from June 23rd onwards.
