Weather Conditions Last night:

The Well Marked Low Pressure from the Bay of Bengal had tracked over land and has strengthened to a Depression and lay centered at 1730 hours IST of today, the 16th September over Chhattisgarh & Odisha border areas near   Lat.20.5°N   and   Long.   82.5°E. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards during next 24 hours.

There is an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over South Pakistan and adjoining Kutch at 1.5 km above mean sea level.

Location of Depression center on 17th Morning at 00 UTC ( 05.30 pm.) is estimated at the West Vidarbha & Chhattisgarh Border, Southeast of Nagpur.

The Depression over West Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh border is expected to track mainly West North Westwardly direction towards Central Gujarat and nearby areas on 19th Morning and by 20th morning the System is expected to come over Saurashtra & nearby areas of Gujarat. Subsequently the System to track Northwards towards Rajasthan.

Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat:

Forecast 18th to 22nd September:

Under the influence of the Depression System coming near/over Gujarat, Saurashtra & Kutch, the rainfall will start from South Gujarat & Central Gujarat initially on 18th and subsequently spread over Saurashtra, Kutch & North Gujarat next day. The rainfall being from a Depression System, the quantum of rainfall will vary from Medium, Heavy to Very Heavy rainfall in various places depending upon the final track of the System. Normally the rain quantum is more in the West and South of the System Center.

There will be strong winds mainly on 20th and 21st September as shown in the Wunderground wind forecast maps in some areas with wind speeds varying from 30 to 40 Kms./hour.

બંગાળની ખડી નું વેલ માર્કડ લો પ્રેસર તારીખ 16 ના મજબૂત બની ડીપ્રેસન માં પરિવર્તિત થયું હતું. આજે તારીખ 17 ના સવારે આ સીસ્ટમ પશ્ચિમ વિદર્ભ અને છતીસગઢ વિસ્તાર માં હતી.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, કચ્છ અને ગુજરાત :

તારીખ 18 સપટેમ્બર થી 22 સપટેમ્બર 2015

પશ્ચિમ વિદર્ભ અને છતીસગઢ બોર્ડર ઉપર ની ડીપ્રેસન સીસ્ટમ તારીખ 19 સુધી માં મધ્ય ગુજરાત અને લાગુ વિસ્તારો ઉપર ફેલાશે અને તારીખ 20 ના સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને લાગુ કચ્છ અને ગુજરાત ના વિસ્તારો ઉપર ફેલાશે.ત્યાર બાદ આ સીસ્ટમ ઊત્તર બાજુ રાજસ્થાન તરફ જાય તેવું અનુમાન છે.

ડીપ્રેસન સીસ્ટમ ગુજરાત  સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ ના વિસ્તારો ની ઉપર/નજીક આવતી હોઈ, પહેલા તારીખ 18 ના મધ્ય ગુજરાત અને દક્ષીણ ગુજરાત બાજુ થી વરસાદ ચાલુ થશે અને ત્યાર બાદ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ઊત્તર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ ના વિસ્તારો માં વરસાદ આવશે. સીસ્ટમ આધારિત વરસાદ હોઈ, માત્રા દરેક વિસ્તાર માં અલગ અલગ રહેશે જે મધ્યમ, ભારે અને અતિ ભારે સુધી રહેશે. મુખ્ય વરસાદ 19 થી 21 દરમ્યાન થશે. સામાન્ય રીતે સીસ્ટમ સેન્ટર થી પશ્ચિમ અને દક્ષીણ બાજુ વધુ વરસાદ થતો હોઈ છે.

તારીખ 20 અને 21 માટે વન્ડરગ્રાઉન્ડ ના વિન્ડ ફોરકાસ્ટ ના નકશા આપેલ છે. અમૂક વિસ્તાર માં વધી ને 30 થી 40 કિમી ના પવનો રહેશે.

હાલ ડીપ્રેસન સીસ્ટમ હોઈ હવામાન ની માહિતી માટે ભારતીય હવામાન ખાતા/ગવર્મેન્ટ ના બુલેટીન/સુચના પર નિર્ભર રહેવું.
