Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from remaining parts of the country yesterday, thus it has withdrawn from the entire country. Simultaneously, Northeast Monsoon has onset over Tamilnadu, Kerala and adjoining areas of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. There is a Mid-Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over West Central Bay of Bengal near the Andhra Pradesh Coast. Associated Convective clouds are present over Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu.
Forecast: 30th October to 5th November 2010
Tamilnadu, Kerala, South Karnataka and South Andhra Pradesh and COastal Andhra Pradesh will receive 8 Cms. to 15 Cms. of rainfall during the forecast period with Isolated heavy rainfall exceeding 20 Cms. at a few places of these regions.
